Too Far?

>>>STEVE'S POV<<<
She left. This is all my fault. I couldn't stand to watch her leave. I walked over to the Dunkin Donuts and take a seat and eat a donut all by myself. Usually I would get two donuts, I would get glaze and Cait would get cream filled. I would get coffee and she would get chocolate milk. Sometimes she would blow bubbles in her milk and we'd laugh our heads off.

"Can I sit?" It was my good friend Sam Wilson aka the Falcon. I gesture to the seat across from me at the small table.

"Well, she's gone," I say with a deep breath. Sam's eyes widen.

"Cait's dead?!"

"No Sam," I say with a laugh. "She's on a mission...without me."

"Steve, she's going to grow up. You have to let her go on her own missions."

"Yeah but she's risking her life!"

"So did you Steve."

"I know but I'm old. I'd rather have me go than her."

"I see your point," he says taking a sip of his coffee.

>>>CAIT'S POV<<<
I sit in my seat in between Nat and Clint. Natasha was reading a magazine while Clint was watching a movie with head phones on. I felt something on my wrist. Out of thin air, a bracelet appeared. Then I got a text.

You thought I lied didn't you? Here are your charms ~Loki

Loki! I fiddle with the bracelet until I get another text.

The blue gem, if you rotate it to the right, makes a hologram of yourself like I do. ~Loki

You know you don't have to say "~Loki" at the end of each text.

It just seems more formal.

Wait! If you don't have a phone, how are you texting me?!

Magic....

I hate you....-___-

Thank you, darling.

I put my phone away and play with the bracelet. The plane takes off and we're off to London! I sat back and munched on the pretzels they gave you on the plane. I start thinking if I went too far. Did I? I don't even know anymore.
