Valentine's Day Special

I wake up to see a note on my bed. It said: After work, I need to give you something Captain. Happy V-Day!~Cait. My little girl has something special for me! I hope it's not a macaroni necklace...or a macaroni anything.

>>>CAIT'S POV<<<
It's Valentine's Day and guess what Steve did for Peggy! He took her out to brunch! It was so romantic...well Natasha and I were spying on them.

I come home to see a stuffed bear with a single red rose and a card. It read: Happy Valentine's Day to the one I love the most. Even though we are miles apart, love will bring us together. ~Zac. Awww Zac! And then I head to work. Great now I get to see Mason. That's the last thing I need today.

I walk into work and put my apron on, I turn around to see Mason holding three bags of flour. "I got you flours. Happy Valentine's Day," he says handing me one of the flours. It was cheesy but I could tell he cared. I took the flour and dropped it by accident. Flour goes everywhere, on me, on Mason, everywhere. I got some on my nose and in my hair. Mason got some in his hair and on his cheek as well as all over our aprons. "You got some flour on your nose," he says wiping the flour off my nose with his thumb. I know he's flirting, I'm flattered and I appreciate it but I don't like it, or him. "You got some on your cheek," I say handing him a napkin. "Thanks," he says as I was getting flour out of my hair. I rolled my eyes and went to work. During the day Mason would flash a smile and I would just look at him then keep working. When closing time came, I hung up my apron and grabbed my phone as I was going to leave. I try to go out the door but get blocked by Mason, "Excuse me." "Why don't you like me?" he asks. "I said excuse me," I say trying to get past him. "Tell me Caitlyn, why don't you like me?" Mason repeats. "You are a nice guy but I don't like you like that," I say leaving and getting into Tony's car. "I heard that there's a surprise for you back at headquarters," Tony says as he drives.

I walk into headquarters to see a trail of roses. Oh my Odin! I see Steve at a candle lit table with two glasses of sparking cider. "Steve! Oh my gosh! This i-is beautiful," I finally get out.

>>>STEVE'S POV<<<
I saw her face light up in awe. I wanted to make this night special for my little girl. I want her to forget about the "boy drama" that's happening to her. Bucky walks in, "Hi Uncle Bucky!" Cait gives him a hug and startles him. He slowly puts his arms around her and says, "Uncle?" That's my best friend right there. She stops hugging, "Are you eating with us?" "No he's got a date," I say. "Yeah, I'd better go," Bucky says. "You might want to zip your fly first," Cait says. Bucky looks down and turns around to zip his fly. Cait and I laugh a little. "Okay, now I gotta leave," Bhcky says walking away. Caitlyn sits down, "Thanks for doing this Steve." I look at her and smile. "It's for my little girl," I say. Clint comes out as our "waiter", and Cait and I crack up. "Ugh! Here's your food," Clint says as he puts the food down. I secretly hand him the money I said I'd give him if he did this. "Shawarma is served!" I say kiddingly. She took a bite an I asked her about the note she left me. "Oh, right," she says getting up. I look at her questionably as she gets on top of a counter and takes a small package out of a loose tile on the ceiling. "Here," she says. "I got them personalized." I look into the small package to see tiny candies that look like my shield. I took one out and it had words on it. Hero it said. I popped it in my mouth and pulled out two more. Captain. Soldier. I ate those ones and looked at Cait. "Take out another one," she says. Dad. I look back up at her. "How did you do this?" I ask playing with the last one in my hand. "I was walking home from work one day and saw that a candy store now has personalized Avengers themed candy and I thought of you," she says. I get up and hug her. We finished dinner as we laughed and takes and had a really great Valentine's Day. We eventually head to our place and go to bed.

>>>CAIT'S POV<<<
I get out of my bed around midnight and go to headquarters. I go to the late night CVS and grab a box of chocolates. I go into Loki's chamber, "Hi Loki." He turns around, "What are you-" I cut him off. "Shhh! Sit down and be quiet," I say point to a chair. He sits on the ground instead and so do I. "Why are you here?" Loki says quietly. "Here, Happy Valentine's Day," I say handing him the box of chocolates. "What's this Midgardian object?" he asks picking up a chocolate. "It's chocolate. Some have Carmel, some have almonds or coconut," I say popping one in my mouth. He looks at it suspiciously, then takes a bite. He makes a face of disgust. I look at the chocolate he got, "Oh you got the coconut one, here this one is milk chocolate. It will taste better." He takes the chocolate from me hesitantly then takes a small bite before shoving the whole thing in his mouth in delight. "Happy Valentine's Day!" I say to him again. "Thank you, Lady Caitlyn," he say with a mouthful of chocolate. I leave and go back to bed. Well I guess it was a good Valentine's Day after all!

Ahhhh! Can I just say that this chapter is 1038 words (not counting this). This is the 30th Chapter!!! Comment your Valentine. Happy V-Day!
