Parting Is Such Sweet Sarrow

They got on the plane. Natasha, Clint and Steve sat in one row while Cait, Peter and Bucky sat in the other. And off they went.

They all parted ways at the airport, saying their "goodbyes" and "see you laters".

Peter grabs his luggage from the baggage claim. Caitlyn taps on his shoulder. "Hey Spider Dork. Do you...uh need a ride? Steve has a car."

Peter smiles, "I wish I could but-"

"Peter!" A girl comes running at him and hugs him tight. She kisses his cheek.

"Mary Jane's taking me home." She lets go.

"Who's she?"

"She's just a-"

"I'm just a friend. Don't worry." Caitlyn smiles. The girl looks at her up and down then gives her the stink eye. "Well, I gotta go! Bye Peter!" Cait runs off to Steve with her luggage.

"Ready to go?"

"Yeah, and I have a question."

"Go on."

"What happened to Scott?"

Steve looks at his shoulder, "Right here!" It was Scott all small and ant-like. He then gets really big. "Oh gosh!" He realizes that he's still in his Ant-Man uniform. "I need to change, I'll meet you in the car." He runs off to the men's bathroom with his luggage.

Steve turns to Bucky, "Ready to go Buck?"

"Ready." Bucky nods. Cait smiles and they all start walking out of the airport.

"Wait! Wait for me!" Scott yells and starts running to catch up with them.

They get to the car, Steve and Bucky help pack the car up, and Scott and Cait get in their seats. Caitlyn and Scott sit there in an awkward silence. "Did you go on the mission too?"

"Yeah. Not to brag but I did most of the heavy lifting," he says, stretching. Steve and Bucky get in the front seats.

"And by heavy lifting, you mean standing and screaming," Steve says backing out of his parking space. Caitlyn lets out a little laugh.

"Well I didn't do everything, but I did help."

Caitlyn looks at him, "Sure ya did Scott, sure ya did." Scott laughs a little.
