Rey's POV:

I followed him to his cabin searching again for answers. It has been two days and he still hasn't trained me or even talked to me, and I know it is because of the talk we had. If he continuous to ignore me I will run away and try to find the answers by myself. I stood in front of the wooden door when suddenly it was flew open by him.

"Rey come inside I need you now!" He said quickly. I rushed inside and waited for his explanation. The room was small with one bad on the side, a small kitchen, a drawer and a dining table. On the walls there were pictures with his younger self smiling next to CP3O and R2-D2, on the next one he was laughing with general Leia and Han Solo. Sadness rose in me, he didn't deserve to die like that, not by the hands of his own son.

"Yes master, tell me what is wrong." I asked politely. He closed the door and turned to me. His big ocean blue eyes looking directly at my hazel ones.

"We have a problem. Today I received a massage from general Leia and the resistance. They believe that there will be new attack soon, and they need you to come with me and help them. The only problem is that you are not fully trained, and I worry that you can't use your powers very well. You can't control them. "

"The force? I've trained for a year to use the force, I can do it."

"No the other one, the one we talked about two days ago."

"And you vanished after the discussion, why?"

"Because, I didn't know how to tell you the reasons why you have that feeling at night or at day time. It is too complex and I still think it is too early for you to find out." How can he think something like that, it is never too early, it can only be too late. "But that ability can help them find Kylo and convince him on their side."

"Kylo on the light side? It will never happen, he is too evil for such a change."

"No, he is not. There is still hope for him."

"No after he killed his own father." He looked at me, despair on his face. "I never thought I would see so much disapproval about someone from you. You too were the closest friends I have ever seen, but life has its own ways."

"Friends? With him? No way, never."

"Yes, you were very close when you were children, you did everything together, you loved him and he loved you, you can't change that." That is impossible, I don't remember any of it.

"Then how is it possible to not remember anything?"

"I suppose he erased your memories, so he can protect you. Even when everything happened with the academy, you still survived, you were too precious for him." I was stunned, Kylo, the guy who I think hates me with all his heart had me as a friend, it is too much to process.

"Let's sit and I will tell you everything." He gestured m to sit on the dining table. I slowly approached to the table and sat on the chair next to Luke. I was still at shock, part of me wanted to believe but part didn't.

...

Now everything starts to make sense, except the reason he turned on the dark side. My memories will be forever removed from my mind, but at least I know I can still help with the project knowing this now.

"General Leia knows about this?"

"Yes she knows about everything, even the feeling. She thinks that is helpful for the expedition. Tomorrow we will go in the resistance base and help them make a plan for destroying the first order and retrieving Ben home. Rey if there is someone who can change his way of thinking, it is you. It was always you."

"I will give my best, master." I said and stood up to go and pack my things, tomorrow is a big day. Finally I will help as a real Jedi in training.

"I know you will, just listen to your heart, it never lies." That was a strange statement, but true. I glanced back at him for the last time today.

"I will, master." And went to my old wooden cabin to prepare.
