Rey's POV:
I went to the hospital wing to visit him for the first time after those two days he has been in there. General Leia was with him most of the time, trying to discuss all those long years they have been apart. I know he told her a lot of private things that no one knew about exept her, which is completely fine. She is his mother. I am happy that they turned another page and started writing their new life story on a blank piece of paper. This is his first step in his redemption, an act of recovery that I believe he is willing to take. The halls are empty and lonely, without a living sole, which is little creepy for a hospital. I heard clearly every my footstep echoing in rithmic motion. He is room 435, I told myself. The halls are white with hundreds of doors all similar to each other. The numbers started to make me blurry and for a moment I thought I am lost, and just then there was room 434, and finally 435. I knocked softly on the grey wooden door and entered. The room is small, with white walls, a big window, a coach, a few chairs, a bedtable with a lamb and few books and last the bed in which Kylo is sleeping covered with warm white blanket. He is turned on his back, so I can't see his face. I walked slowly to the bed and sat on one chair, facing him directly. His face is calm, his muscles relaxed. It is a scene I never believed I will see. He looks so vulnerable in this bed, like he is not the same person he once was.
" I knew you would come." He said, not even opening his eyes. I smirked, he can sense my presense.
" How did you know?"
" I just knew, I felt it. Every time someone opened that door I thought that were you, but I was disappointed. Why didn't you come earlier?" His eyes slowly opened with every passing word he said. After a while I was looking in those gorgeous black diamonds. I can get lost in them if I stare too long. What am I doing? I dismissed my thoughts imidiatly, but on his face there was a smirk, like he knows what I am thinking. I blushed, why in the world am I blushing?
" I had work to do. And were you reading my mind again?" His smirk grew up into a wide smile.
" No I wasn't. It would have hurted if I was. But...that means you are thinking something special...something I am just dying to find out..." Great he is mocking me now.
" No nothing special, nothing" I said. I know he didn't buy it, but well it was worth the risk.
" Are you sure? You want me to find out?"
" Positive, and no, I don't. I will resist you if you try." I smiled mocking him back.
"So why did you come? To look at my handsome face that now has a scar in the middle because of you, or you just wanted to be in an intellectual company, because I know the stormtrooper and the pilot are not execly that." He is such a narcissist, he only loves himself, I am am an idiot to believe he can change.
" How dare you speak about them like that? You from all people, you should be ashamed. You want to know the reason why I didn't come earlier? Because I was wasting too much time defending you in front of everyone, saying and proving that you have changed and now I know it was all for nothing. Excuse me." I hissed and stood to leave when once again he took my left arm.
" Let me go!"
"No! You are right, I shouldn't have said that. I am...am...sorry. Ok I said it, I am sorry." He didn't let go of my hand but I did.
" At least you are now one foot on the light side, and my work as a Jedi is to forgive you. One day you will understand the true power of forgiveness, and that day you will find peace and your heart will be full. I hope that day will come." I gently shoke his hand and turned to leave.
" I hope so too." He said softly, his voice deep and tired, his eyes not leaving mine. I smiled to insure him that everything is ok.
" Get well soon, so we can start our training together, I will make a Jedi out of you."
" I believe you will, and I will be better in no time." We said our goodbyes and I left the room, but I know it won't be long when we will meet again, and I want it to be soon.
