Rey's POV:
"Come on you two lovebirds!" Poe called, and we both pulled away at the same time. I blushed and looked back at Ben who seems to be very happy. He gently touched my cheek and sent all the vibes that filled my stomach with butterflies once again.
"Come on, love. Let's get out of this place. " He gently said and took my arm into his. We both went together to find the others who are just ahead of us. We all continued to the end of the dirty hallway when a bunch of stormtroopers headed by general Hux appeared in front of us. No, how did they know I will find them? I clutched Ben's hand hard, searching for comfort and security. Hux looked surprised and happy to see us like this. His eyes searching everyone with wicked smile on his cold lips. Suddenly the temperature fell even more in the corridor.
"Look who is here! The prisoners and our little scavenger traitor." Wrath formed in my body, I wanted to destroy him in place, and leave this cursed planet.
"We will fight you. Now we are free." Poe answered boldly, but I can see that he is furious as me, his face bright red. Hux just signed in disagreement.
"No, you are not. You will never be. You are born to fail, your destiny was and is a big massive failure. How many times you attack us we will always strike back, and defeat you. It is the way things work."
"NO! We will always succeed because we are the light, and the light always finds its way. Maybe not today but sometime tomorrow it will happen. You will be destroyed! By the Jedi or someone else." Leia shouted, and spat all those wise words in front of Hux's face. His cold eyes became even darker, much darker. He is vexed now.
"Those words matter nothing to me. They are all nonsense. By the way, Snoke told me to get you." He pointed his finger on Leia's forehead. "Obviously he has something to discuss with you. In private. Keeps me thinking you two know each other. How is that possible? "
Leia is stunned. Her face motionless, her breathing rapid. For the first time I saw her speechless, she didn't look like this even when her husband died. Something seriously is wrong now. I peeked at Ben, who seems to be fixed on his mother. His palms started sweating. Does he know what Hux is talking about?
"Eventually I will find about this little secret of yours. Now take them to Snoke, all of them!" Said Hux bitterly. Just as one came to take me I activated my lightsaber and defeated him. We all started fighting, this is our only chance. Ben attached Hux with his lightsaber, but the general is strong with his blaster. One wrong move from Ben and he will be hurt, I don't even have heart to look. Leia stood on my side and we both defeated several stormtroopers. So far so good, there is just few of them now.
"You would have been nothing without that force, it is the only thing that is keeping you strong. But Kylo you can admit that you are nothing." Hux said from behind, I can hear them, they are not that far way, but at the same time I must concentrate at the others.
"I am not nothing. I was nothing when I was in the dark, when I had no one, when I stood in front of hundreds and felt more alone than in a blank space. This place destroyed my life, made me choose between the things I care about against my will. I lost fourteen years here. It is enough. Now I am repairing my life, I started again. " There was a silence, a silence that started to distress me. I wanted to look back, to make sure he is all right. But I can't I am in the middle of this duel with another solder. I prayed for Ben to speak up and say something.
"You know Kylo, I have one last laser bullet in my blaster, one that I know perfectly well on whom to use. Say farewell. " And there was a sudden shot that just brought darkness in all of us.
