Rey's POV:
Ben and I turned to go away. Everyone needs to prepare physically and mentally for the battle. We ran together down the cold white marble floors and stopped into the garden. It is a nice place to relax after a situation like this. It has green styled bushes, lots of colourful flowers and a beautiful white fountain with few birds. I sat on the bench near the fountain, Ben instantly followed.
"We have to go in the woods and practise. " I said. He wasn't looking at me, but in the scenery of the garden.
"Yes we need to prepare, I feel that they will be here sooner than we expect." His voice is deep and full with emotion, mixed with worry and excitement.
"You kinda want them to come, and kinda don't. Is that right?" I looked him directly while he still searched for something far away. The soft wind went throw his dark locks, and made his hair even more perfect, while my hair looks like a mess.
"Yes" He answered silently. Obviously he doesn't want anyone to hear about our secret talk, and the fact is: we are alone here.
"At the same time I want them to come, so I can face them once again and this time for good. I want to see the faces of Hux and Snoke when they loose, to see them defeated, like they deserve, but on the other hand I don't want innocent people to suffer and get involved into this without their opinion. I am scared of the thought how many people will lose their lives. For the good of the galaxy."
"They know that they are doing this for their children and grandchildren, for their good, for better and improved future." I smiled softly and hugged him, his scent bewitching me. Once again he smells like old wood and spring. He turned, his warm lips resting on my forehead, kissing my temple now or then.
"I want this moment to last infinitely, I want to close my eyes and just stay in your embrace forever, till the day we die." He sent one more quick kiss, listening to each one of my words, not making a sound.
"I wish that too. After all of this is over we will be wed and then I can have you forever, Rey, I love you unconditionally." Ben told me, his arms on my bright cheeks, caressing me lightly. He didn't have to say a word, I already know what he is thinking or feeling, we know each other too well.
"Do you think we will survive?" I asked him softly, not wanting to look into his deep eyes, I already know that I will see hurt and despair in them. He hugged me even more tightly.
"Of course, we mustn't think any other way. Nothing...bad is...going to happen." He wants to hide the fact that he is unsure,from me, but he knows that he failed. He took a deep breath, more deep than any other before, he closed his eyes. "At least my love for you will never die, never." My heart burst into million pieces, he knows that there is a chance that we will not make it out alive. He understands that well. "But we need to think for the better, for our future together, we need to believe. Rey I can't imagine my life without you anymore. It is not only the bound, but much more. It is the trust, the love and the attraction I have for you. You are the light shinning inside of me, the light that defeated the dark and showed me that I still have something to fight for, to live for. Rey...my dearest...will you marry me?" I am stunned, speechless. In a mere second I forgot about everything, about everyone. It is only him and me now, alone. My heart started beating furiously against my chest. His eyes sparkled, patiently awaiting for my answer.
"Yes!" I screamed with all my voice. "Million times yes!!!" I jumped happily to hug him tighter and never let go. He grinned, burying his face into my neck.
"Rey you made me the happiest man alive!" He cried, and I cried too, from happiness. Suddenly everything fell into place, where it belongs.
"We need to go and train now, it is time." He said. I nod and we went into the forest, just like the time when we were little. It seems like it will always be our secret place...
