Ben's POV:
Today is the day. We are heading towards the StarKiller base. We are driving at light speed so we will be there soon. Rey just wait for us a little longer and that's it. I am in the Millennium Falcon with Chewie, mom, Finn, Luke and few others. They are all nervously sitting on the sofas in the main room. Finn is the pilot and Chewie, of course, is the copilot. I am just standing here leaned on a table, waiting this flight to be over. Not only because of the mission, but because of the place, too. Every detail on this ship reminds me of my father, the person who loved me dearly. Soft hands touched one of my cheeks, I turned to face her.
"Mother, what if something goes wrong?" I asked, my throat sore. She stood to face me, her dark brown eyes warm and loving.
"Don't think like that son, nothing will go wrong." She caressed me while speaking.
"Yes, but I have that feeling deep inside that something will happen. I just don't want to lose her mother, not again."
"A true Jedi believes only in the good, never thinks of the bad."
"But i'm not a Jedi yet."
"One day you will be, you and Rey will be the best Jedi in all the galaxies." I admire her, after all she went through she is still optimistic about my future.
"You believe in me?" She smiled and opened her arms waiting me to respond. I instantly hugged her, once again feeling the comfort of a mother, after so many years. I thought I would never feel this kind of gentleness by anyone, but is good to be back. I am home.
"I will always believe in you son." We stayed like this a few minutes, feeling each other, filling the wounds and gaps all this time caused us. Happy that things finally start to change, for the good. After a while, she pulled back.
"Ben we will bring her back, together. I know she means the world to you, and I am happy for you son."
"Thank you." I said and kissed her forehead. We both went in the main room where everyone is waiting. Just when we arrived inside a loud yell from Finn was heard.
"We are landing in few seconds, please sit down." We listened and sat. We have about half an hour before the lunch change of the shift, which is at noon. All the stars collided and made a stunning path for us, in matter of seconds I saw the most hateful thing in all the systems. The Starkiller base. I must admit Finn is really good at this job, he landed so slowly and cautiously. As in the plan we are in the woods, which are still covered with snow. Winter seems to be long on this planet. All the other planes from our base arrived shortly after us. We opened the door to see Poe standing in front of it.
"You can come out guys, coast is clear." He said cheerfully.
"Or you can come inside, because is freezing outside." Finn said. Poe thought for a second and called the others to come stay with us. He is with two other pilots.
"Ok, so we have only quarter hour till the change of the shift, let's split up in sections. Poe you, Max and Simon will come with us to the back door. "Finn said, we all nodded and went out. The forest is not far away from the base. We walked to the back door with blasters and lightsabers in our hands. Seems like no one saw us, good. The guard is there, we just need to wait little longer, and we are in.
"Guys, five minutes till noon." I said while hiding behind one tree.
"Just little longer." Poe added. "Ok, times up. Now we handle that white armor guy." I went out first.
"Kylo R..." Finn smashed his head with the metal from the blaster.
"Ok, you can get out." He called, and everyone approached us.
"Now is the hard part, it is now or never. We need to get inside." Luke said, but was cut by the sudden opening of the door. Army of stormtroopers came from inside. We started to fire at them, I used my Jedi lightsaber to defeat them, but they are too many. We are outnumbered. Slowly everyone was captured. They are taking us inside. We are walking to the main control room, where they will interrogate us, or send us in prison. In any way it is not good. A cold laugh erupted in the dark room. I can recognize that voice anywhere. I grit my teeth with hatred. Hux.
"Well, well, well, look what we have here. The whole Skywalker-Solo family." We are alone, he is sitting on one dark leather chair.
"Kylo Ren, such an honor to have you here with us, now the party can begin."
"Where is she?" I called with all my strength. He glanced at me, mischievous smile on his lips.
"I don't know who you are talking about."
"Oh, you know very well who I am talking about."
"Ah, the scavenger girl. Rey. She is here and fine don't need to worry about her. Do you want to see her?"
"Yes." I answered. He nod and signed with his hand. The stormtrooper opened the door, and there she was, dressed in all black, fear in her eyes.
"I want you to meet my fiancé Rey." WHAT?! Fiancé? No, no this is not happening, I choose not to believe in this, it is a lie, it must be. My blood is boiling from inside, rage, hurt and despair all mixed. I looked her in the eyes, I know she is not guilty, she is forced by that maniac.
"Take them away." He said.
"No!" Rey screamed, tears in her eyes. She is now held by a stormtrooper. "Ben, I love you!" I looked at her once again.
"I know." I said gently before we left the room.
