It felt as if twitching my finger. I never had to think about it, as if my body knows when the transformation needs to be done. It was second nature, a six sense almost. What once was a seventeen year old girl now was replaced with a wolf.

Turning my head away from the moon, I look to my new companion. I had expected my wolf to tense, screaming that there is danger and to assert my dominance in the situation. But for some unknown reason she didn't. She was almost purring at the mere thought of his presence.

Remus lets out a moan of agony before he falls to the ground. Knowing that I am unable to do anything but watch breaks my heart.

I walk towards him slowly, fearing if I make the wood creak it would bring him more pain. When I'm only a few inches away from him I sit down. With my big form I'm now his same height.

I lay my head on his shoulder, whining slightly as I try to bring him some form of comfort. His breath evens, the screams silence only a little but I can tell he is grateful for the less pain.

I don't know how it happened, but I don't question it. I'm just glad it did.

With my senses heightened, I can hear his nails elongate forcibly. They tear through his skin to make claws. The sound of his close rip from his body growing. It felt like many agonizing hours, but was only several minutes before he was fully transformed.

I move my head from his now fury shoulder to get a look at him. He looked like a regular wolf, but his facial features were more human like.

His coat was a light gray with it small patches where scars were. And his eyes were ice blue orbs starring into my gold ones. We were of similar heights, but with Remus being a werewolf he still looked down to me.

The beast walks around me, committing my scent to memory while I do the same. He smells of parchment and chocolate with a woodsy smell surrounding his wolf. The scent was delectable.

His wolf growls before he begins to rub his scent on me. It was rather odd, but since I was the only she wolf he has came in contact with has made his wolf possessive.

Once satisfied he moved to my side and nudges my head gently. I do the same, rubbing my head under his chin and walk over to a worn out mattress. I make myself comfortable before laying down, with me being so big my tail lays on the floor.

Remus' eyes never leave me as he makes his way towards the mattress and lays down beside me. It was nice to have someone with me whilst being in this form.

I wouldn't dare let Percy near me because I was always afraid of hurting him. My mom and I would shift whenever she was around, but when she died I never trusted anyone else to see me like this. Now I had someone to comfort me when this happened. Now I wasn't alone.

I lay my head on his paw while he lays his on top of my neck. It was only a matter of minutes before darkness consumed me.

Remus Lupin

I had only had a chance to glance at Amelia before the pain started. I was once again on the familiar floor of the shreaking shakes, screaming in pain.

It was excruciating I felt every muscle shift under my skin. When I was younger it wasn't as bad, but with my body growing older and more frail it was terrible.

I seen Amelia make her way towards me. She sits down before laying her head on my shoulder.

The pain subsides with the touch of my companion. It was still painful, but bearable. I let out a sigh of relief as my shift ends. When it's over Amelia lifts her head of my shoulder and looks at me.

Her wolf was beautiful with her coat of mixed colors, but the fur around her eyes and snout were white. It made her golden eyes shine into my blue ones.

I walk around her huge form, but I still managed to be taller. I sniffed for her scent, wanting to commit this form to memory.

'Mine'

My wolf growls at the familiar scent of sweet vanilla. I let my wolf have control as he rubs our scent on her, claiming her as ours and keeping other males away.

Our scent will tell other Werewolves and Animagus what she is to us. And without knowing it other wizard males will keep their distance.

Once we're satisfied I move to her side and nudge her head. She responds by rubbing her head under my chin. It was amazing to be with her in this form, but why didn't she tell us?

When I had shifted all those years ago she had stayed human. Was it because she wanted to prove what she was to me?

My eyes never leave hers as she makes her way to the mattress and lays down. I walk towards her and lay down with her. She lays her head over my paw and I lay mine on top of her neck.

Her breaths even and it's not long before she falls asleep. She would never stop to amaze me. She had found out what I was within a month of me knowing her and was not afraid or disgusted with me.

I know she wasn't when I first met her but she is a respected Pureblood. They hate the mere mention of what we were.

I should let her go, let her find someone who could give her a normal life. I don't deserve this beautiful creature before me. It's not right for her to be cursed with an old werewolf like myself.

I could give her nothing of value. I have no money to shower her with jewels she deserves. The only thing I'm able to get her is my eternal love and affection.

She is a timeless beauty, and I would always be her beast in the shadows.
