Sirius and Remus wasted no time and yanked Peter so he was now standing.he stumbled slightly before looking up.

"Remus, Sirius? My old friends!" He says and tries to run again. But they quickly catch him and throw him back.

It wasn't until then when his eyes landed on me. Peter made his way toward me. His hands latched themselves on to my upper arms as he looks at me with beady eyes.

"Amelia? My,my, don't you look ravishing." The mere comment causes me to cringe internally. With one of his hands still firmly on my arm, he stretches his hand toward my face.

But thankfully, before he can violate my personal space any more Remus grabs  his arm and drags him away from me. I was grateful but began to worry once I seen the anger in Remus' eyes.

"Don't you ever think of touching her again." He says in a viscous tone that leaves me momentarily stunned. Never had I heard something so cruel come from Remus.

His menacing glare stayed on Peter, making no movement to back away. The moon was already making him agitated, but Peter had sent him on edge.

I walked quickly over to the trio, never taking my eyes of the scene before me. When I made it to Harry I moved him back with the other, keeping them as far away from them as I could.

Sirius stayed back as well, when we locked eyes he mouthed 'do something.' I gave him a look that asked him what was I supposed to do. He gestured for me to calm him down.

Slowly, I walked to the two while trying to make as little noise as possible. "Lupin" I say quietly, he doesn't answer but growls lowly at Peter. "Professor Lupin" I say again, only louder, putting a hand on his shoulder.

He seems to calm down a little but he still holds his glare to Peter. "Remus, that's enough." I put my other hand on his cheek, turning him so he would look at me. "We don't want to kill him" Sirius looks ready to protest but I cut him off "we'll let the dementor's have the fun with that."

He doesn't move, but I could tell he wasn't going to hurt him. He looks at me desperately, those sad eyes I had encountered when we first met starring at me full force. He looked so broken it almost had me sobbing. This man, this amazing man had been through so much. And there was nothing I could do about it.

He finally nodded and backed away from Peter.

Harry Potter's POV

Once professor Lupin calmed down, we all made our way back to the castle. Sirius and I helped Ron while Peter Pettigrew was in front of us and Amelia and professor Lupin in front of him, while Hermione was behind us.

As we were walking I had noticed how close Amelia and the professor were. There was no denying the bond they shared, but how fair did it go?

"Sirius?" I asked, turning my attention to him. "Yes Harry" he said, looking to me expectantly.

"How did Amelia-"

"Calm Remus down?" I nod " how much do you know about werewolves, Harry?"

I shake my head "only what professor Snape taught us, and that was how to kill them." He laughs bitterly "well then I'm guessing you don't know anything of use.

Werewolves have this tendency, it doesn't happen often. But it can happen. The Lycanthropy side of werewolves will find someone. It could be anyone, male, female, witch, or even a muggle. And they will in a sense, claim them.

They are the only one the werewolf cannot harm, even during a full moon. They can become extremely possessive over them, because those chosen are the only ones who can calm them down, the only ones who can truly love them for what they are. Amelia is the one Remus' wolf has chosen."
