Am I a Coward?

  " I was hanging in the corner with my TWO best friends, I heard that you were trouble, but I couldn't resist...."

"I make them good girls go... Good girls gone bad, yeah!!!"

I put the my laptop down at tiningnan ng masama si Georgina and Celestine, who are already making a scene here outside Buenisimo by Cafe Ysabel. We are currently having dinner slash paperwork (for me) at nagulat ako ng bigla silang tumayo at nagsasayaw dun sa gilid ng table namin. And worse, people are staring. Who on earth will dance outside a coffee shop? To think na pareho pa silang nakadress ng sobrang fit and daring kaya ayan, ang mga tao, specially the guys, halos lumuwa na ang mga mata.

"Can you two sit down please? Look at everyone." I hissed.

Tumingin sila sa paligid and crazily waved at the crowd. Georgie even made flying kisses to everyone. Diyos ko, wala na. Parang nanlambot naman yung mga lalaki. Oh God.

"Thank you everyone!" Sigaw nila habang todo pa-cute pa. And thank heavens when they both sat. Ha! Finally!

"Had I known na kahihiyan lang pala ang gagawin nyo, I should have gotten home." Hinilot ko ulo and attempted to open my laptop, pero Celestine put it back down.

"We told you, Margarette. We want to go clubbing. Club. C-L-U-B. Club. But where did you bring us? Coffee shop? Hello?!" then Celestine rolled eyes at me.

"Had we known na puro trabaho pa rin ang gagawin mo, we should have just brought our cars. Siguro, namatay na kami sa sobrang saya ngayon." And like what Cel did, inirapan din ako ni Georgina. 

I remained calm. "I told you I'm not coming. Kayo tong mapilit." Binuksan ko ulit ang Mac ko. I cannot afford to waste a single second because I have tons to do.

"Woah! So it's our fault now, Cel. Great! Alam mo, let's go. Papasundo na lang ako sa driver ko. Let's leave that boring woman alone." Said Georgina.

Georgina Laurice Amadeo, George for short. Remember her? She's the one who referred me Isla Luna. She is one of my greatest friends. She is tactless, independent, and strong-willed woman. Like me, she also manages their own family business of restaurant chain but I wonder why I've never seen her busy with work. She's just a happy go lucky type. Masakit magsalita, but it's just her nature. Kung hindi mo siya kilala, maiinis ka sa pagkaprangka niya pero sa totoo lang, sobrang reliable yan in your most problematic times.
