AFTER Joaquin and I became one last night, nakatulog na ako sa sobrang saya at pagod at the same time.
And another morning had been given for us at ang aga-aga, ang gwapong gwapong mukha ni Joaquin na kaagad ang nakita ko.
The moment I opened my eyes, nakita ko na agad siyang natingin ng derecho sa mata ko... smiling genuinely and playing with my lose hair.
"Slept well?" he asked me.
I smiled at him. "Never better." And I cuddled next to him. He hugged me tight and kissed the top of my forehead.
How I love waking up to mornings like this. All these feelings, they felt so real. Too good too be true, but I don't want this to end. Just by being enveloped in his arms, I already feel secured. This is the best feeling ever.
"Hungry?" he asked.
"Kind of? But I don't wanna get up yet." Mas lalo ko pang isiniksik ang sarili ko sakanya.
"What do you want to do then?" He asked me. Amusement is evident in his voice.
"Cuddle all day long?" And I smiled at what I said. Since when did I become this clingy? Pero no inch of regret for my part, because I love saying things related to what I feel for him.
Inilayo niya ako ng bahagya sakanya para makita ang mukha ko.
He just continued to stare at me.
"I'm sad to break this to you but we can't cuddle all day long."
Nagtaka ako sa sinabi nya.
"Why?"
"Because..." hinaplos nya ang pisngi ko. "...I've prepared some things that we could do together today." Sinasabi niya iyon pa para bang bata lang ang kausap nya.
I pouted, "Why can't we just stay here, Joaquin? I don't feel like going out, really." Sabi ko.
"Kailangan may gawin tayo, Margarette. Baka isang araw mabore ka na lang dito, tapos iwanan mo na naman ako."
