Douglas entered the room, somber. He seemed...distraught.

"Hey Douglas...what's up with you?" Donny asked.

"I just got a phone call from Daniel," Dougie responded.

"Who's Daniel?" Bree asked the question we were all curious about.

"Your brother." Douglas responded.

Silence fell over the room, letting everyone process what was going on.

"Wait, first of all, you make three boys bionic and only one girl?" I asked, even though technically I was bionic, Adam, Bree and Chase are the original three.

Douglas couldn't speak, and instead he shrugged slightly.

"And secondly, you gave him my name?!" I exclaimed, not very happy with this.

Douglas smirked. "Well, actually....he...."

"If you tell me that he came before me, I'll kill you." I glared.

He shut up.

"So how old is he, when do we get to meet him?" Bree asked.

"He's 13 and...I don't know. I just talked to him for the first time, I don't think either of us are ready for that." Douglas said.

"Well what did he say?" Donald asked.

"That he was ready to meet me."

We all groaned.

"'Kay, look. I just don't know if I'm ready to be a Dad."

Adam, Bree, Chase, Leo and I all looked at him confused.

"Says the father to his four teenage kids." Bree responded.

"Including the one that you raised," I snarked back.

Douglas laughed. "You were my mini minion."

I gasped and placed a hand over my heart, faking surprise. Douglas waved me off and I pouted.

"C'mon, it'd be great to have a little brother to hang out with!" Chase exclaimed.

"Yeah because Leo is just some random dude who's lived in your house for the past few years." Leo responded sarcastically.

I laughed to myself as Adam clapped Leo's shoulder. "Took the words right out of my mouth, Leo." Adam said, making me laugh harder.

Eventually, Douglas agreed and Daniel came to meet us at the Academy.

We were all so excited but I would hope me the most.

Then Douglas dropped a bomb. "Oh and he doesn't know he's bionic."

Then there was a lot of quarreling but it ceased when the loop pulled in.

Daniel stood up and exited the loop. "Whoa, cool place."

"Heeyyy, buddy. I'm your daddy, Douglas." Dougie tried to welcome him.

"I know these pants are baggy, but does it look like I'm wearing a diaper?" Daniel responded.

I snickered behind Douglas who turned to glare at me.  I walked over because I was not going to just be considered a "cousin."

"Sorry, he's used to me calling him that. I'm Dani." I smiled brightly and stuck my hand out for the kid to shake.

"Cool, I have a sister!" He smiled brightly, after shaking my hand.

"Who has the same name as you," Chase quipped under his breath but I heard him and punched his arm as Douglas introduced the four of them.

"Let's be honest, the whole reason you're here is to meet your Uncle Donald," Donny pointed to himself and I laughed as Daniel turned him away.

"This is too cool, I get a new dad and sister, an uncle, and all these cousins."

"Yep, because we're your cousins!" Adam smiled and I rolled my eyes. He was going to ruin it all for him.

I smiled as Dad went off with Daniel. Chase came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind. I relaxed and let him just hold me. We certainly didn't do this often enough and I was glad that he was there for me in a time like this.

Chase kissed my head before picking me up and carrying me bridal style to our hideaway spot. It was a survival bunker set up for two people, if ever necessary. There were multiple, placed over the entire island if an emergency ever came up. Mr. D really thought of everything when it came to that stuff.

We had personalized the bunker and made it our own, complete with copies of our favorite books, two tablets, phones and chargers, comms units, and weapons if necessary. We also stocked it with a guitar, radio, and a few CDs, just incase boredom hit. We never ate any of the food or drank the water, but brought our own instead. And the bed was super comfortable, which was nice that Donny was looking out for us even in times of danger.

It was a wonderful space, and it was all ours.
