If you haven't heard already, let me catch you up. Douglas and Donny crated an upgrade that only works on the new bionic chips. This got Chase, Bree and Adam slightly upset, but the only important thing from that is Chase then tried to modify the update. While he was doing that, students started vanishing- as in geo-leaping. Eventually, they all geo-leaped to some (at the time) unknown place, Daniel being one of them.
Daniel called the Academy and told us where the students were, but it turned out to be a trap. Once we got to Giselle's lab, she revealed to us that the Daniel that was in front of us and the one that called us was actually...
"Marcus?!?" Douglas exclaimed.
My jaw dropped. In front of me was my brother, the one I grew up with, my best friend. Technically, yes, I left him behind. Yes, I shouldn't be happy to see him right now, by my emotions are ranging from angry at Giselle to overly excited to see Marcus.
"Marcus!" I exclaimed and threw my arms around him. Maybe it was wrong, maybe it wasn't the right moment, but it happened and that's all I can say.
"Dani!" Donny exclaimed angrily, but I ignored him.
"Marcus, you're alive, you're okay, oh gosh." I muttered into his shoulder and hugged him tighter.
I was suddenly yanked back by my shirt which was pulled by Adam. He didn't look happy with my actions, and I could tell that nobody was, but this was...this was Marcus. We had a bond that I don't and just can't share with these guys.
Marcus seemed to be glaring at me and I could feel the anger radiating off of him.
There was much banter going on between all of us and the next thing I know is I'm waking up from a black out all while strapped to a chair. Marcus walked in holding Daniel against his will.
"Daniel!" I cried out just as Daniel said, "Dad!"
"Oh, so you know him too," Marcus glared at me.
"Get your hands off my son." Douglas argued.
"Your son; You mean like I was your son?" Marcus expressed angrily as I thrashed about in my seat as Marcus continued to hurt Daniel.
"Wait he's my brother?!" Daniel exclaimed.
"But not for long," Marcus commented and threw him across the room.
"Daniel!" I exclaimed, thrashing about even more. My bionics were useless if I couldn't move my hands.
"Marcus, please. Stop," Douglas begged.
"Are you kidding? I could do this all day, and I think I will." Marcus advanced toward Daniel just as an alert went off.
"I'll go take care of them," Marcus told Giselle.
"No! Let them get their hopes up. They won't get far." Giselle smirked as she walked off to find the other bionic students.
Just after she left, Daniel swung a pole at Marcus' back causing the pole to bend into a kind of curved edge.
"Wh-wh-what're you doing, you broke my pipe!" Daniel exclaimed.
Marcus shrugged his shoulders before grabbing Daniel and holding him by the arm, starting to take him out of the room.
"Marcus! I know I built ya to be evil but I can reprogram you! We can be a family again. You, me, Daniel and Dani. Maybe we'll adopt a kitten!" Douglas pleaded.
"I hate cats." Marcus argued. Which is a total lie, he adores cats, so I rolled my eyes.
Marcus put more pressure on Daniel's shoulder and Douglas was now getting worried.
