She's a One-upper
I glared at Chase, my eyes narrowing at him, my hands on my hips. "I'm going to prove you wrong. And when I do, it'll the be the worst thing to ever happen to you." I said and stormed off heading towards the lab.
-
I huffed as I flipped my hair back, looking at my project with pride. I had done it, I had created a simulator that would push Chase, Adam and Bree to their limits, pushing them to get better at fighting, to really go over the edge. I smirked as Mr. Davenport walked into the lab, looking at me with curiosity. "What's this?" He asked and I smiled.
"Your new simulator for their training. It pushes them a lot more than yours ever did. It's more challenging, more gruesome, more real. It's what they need. Plus, you can use a remote to change the difficulty level. And during the first couple rounds, they aren't allowed to use their bionics because I've created bracelets to block them."
Davenport looked at me like I had just blew his mind. "Won't it hurt them?"
I shrugged. "The people they are fighting in the simulator aren't real, but when Adam, Bree and Chase get punched, it'll feel real. That way they know what to expect in a real fight."
He nodded carefully, thinking it over. "Okay. I like it. I'll go get them. But you and Chase are going first." I nodded, smirking.
They came downstairs and looked at me with curiosity. "I've created a new simulator for you guys to train with that will push you to your limits. Now, the first couple training sessions with it must be no bionics, so I created these bracelets to block your bionics so you can't use them." I passed the bionic-blocking bracelets out to the other three and they strapped them on.
"Alright, Chase and Dani, you're going first."
I smirked at Chase as I slipped on a pair of my own goggles and got in a ready stance. Chase did the same and soon there were simulations attacking us.
"Take out as many as you can and whoever has taken out more, wins." I said and smirked. He nodded and we attacked the simulations. I took out as many as I could per minute, no bionics what-so-ever.
"Your tactic isn't going to work here," I told him and he nodded.
"I figured that out, thank you very much," he snapped and I scowled.
"Well then," I said and went back to fighting. I took down 25 of the simulations where Chase had only taken down 5.
"Dude, that's sad." Adam said as the simulation faded.
"Well that's because-"
I cut Chase off by saying, "No, let him figure it out for himself," I said and smiled as Adam took the glasses and stuck his tongue out at Chase.
The two of us watched as Adam and Bree were beaten by the simulation very quickly. They both dropped to the ground, groaning in pain. I shook my head in shame for them as Donald looked at me with wide eyes. "You haven't been preparing them for the worst..." I said and walked away, to the cyber desk.
"Okay, you proved your point. Are you still mad at me?" Chase asked and I shook my head.
"I was never mad at you. I just wanted to show you up." I said and he smirked. "Now go away, I'm working," I said and his smirk dropped to a frown.
"Why? Can't I bug you while you're working?" he asked quietly and I smirked.
"No. Now go away."
I pushed his chest and he stumbled backwards before catching himself and wrapping his arms around my waist. "Go away, Chase." I said shrugging him off. He frowned and I kept my attention on what I was doing, completely ignoring Chase.
