Kevin's POV

I gasp for air.

My eyes open slowly.

They feel so heavy.

It is still dark outside.

The sun isn't up yet.

Can I move?

I focus on my hand.

Move finger.

It moves.

I move my arm and feel my head.

It has rough patches of something on them- scabs?

What happened?

I sit up slowly.

It feels like I had gotten stabbed so many fucking times!

I manage to somehow get up.

What time is it?

I limp my way (slowly) to the kitchen.

4: 30 AM

It had been 2 hours.

I hear snoring upstairs.

Sudden everything that happened rushed back to me.

I fall backwards and hope to God Dad didn't become a light sleeper.

Pain explodes through my body.

He did this to me.

He did this!

I grip onto the counter, I have to go.

I grab my phone that was a pocket of my backpack and limp to the door.

Turn the knob.

Limp down driveway.

Limp to the sidewalk.

Fall!

Crawl to my knees.

Pain exploding in areas I hadn't noticed earlier.

I have to make it!

I push on my knees, my body wobbles but holds me.

On step.

Another step.

Another.

Half a step.

Limp.

My body aches.

I  have to make it!

I keep saying it in my head, "I have to make it! I have to make it!"

Step.

Step.

Limp.

Step.

Limp.

Step.

Raise fist.

Collapse.

I can't.

Edd help me.
