Ch. 37

Kourtney

"Where you trying to go mama? Hmm? Where are you going baby girl?" I questioned Kamryn as she squirmed around on the bed. She was in the stages of learning to crawl and getting into everything. I had to grab her every few seconds to make sure she didn't crawl right off the bed.

"What are my girls doing up so early?" Aug groggily spoke, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"Your daughter is trying to crawl off the bed."

He chuckled, "The furthest she'll go is the floor."

"Not funny August cause if she hurt herself I'd die."

"Chill ma', I was only kidding. Ain't that right Kammy-Kam." He picked her up and sat her on his chest and she began messing with every thing on his face, from his nose to his chin hairs.

Aug and I decided to continue to build on our relationship, despite all the pain and drama. He practically moved back into the house; everything besides the furniture from the condo. We both decided to capitalize on the condo, and turned it into a rental property as another source of income. I definitely needed the money while I took a break from teaching.

These past 3 to 4 months months have all been a learning experience for Aug and I, and we've been learning about each other all over again. It's kind of like in the beginning of our relationship.

To help Aug curve his sexual cravings, we've restrained from having sex. We haven't had sex in the past three months. Dr. Todd advised that we only have sex once in a while like every 3-4 months, because when we finally do, the ecstasy and level of intimacy will be out of this world.

"Since I been outta commission fa' a while now, I'm gonna do some work today." Aug spoke, while Kamryn still explored his face with her hands.

"Yea? What do you plan on working on?"

"I need to write some songs, do some vocal training and warm ups. My shit prolly sound dry and washed up. I been away from music since before you had Kam."

I chuckled, "I don't think you could ever sound dry babe, your voice is amazing and always will be."

"You jus' sayin' that cause you my woman." He pulled me close to him with his right hand as the left held onto Kamryn.

"No Aug, seriously. You know you're one of the best male vocalist out right now."

His cheeks flushed red, he tried to fight that stupid boyish grin off his face. "Alright na', don't be boostin' me up."

After August left this morning to go to the studio, I decided to visit my neglected bestie Sal. We've spoken as often as the normal but we just haven't been able to hang out lately with everything that's been going on.

Kamryn and I ventured out and picked up some junk food on our way there. I took Kamryn and the food out of the car once we arrived and knocked on the door. In a few seconds Salina swung open the door.

"Kourtney!!" She shouted, as she embrace me in a hug.

"I missed you Sal." Kamryn and I went inside and I locked the door behind me, getting comfortable.
