I'd like to say I'm different
That we're different
Things have changed
I'd like to say
Life is fluffy
Bubbly like champagneIt isn't and we haven't
The world has changed without us
We're trapped in the past
We thought it would last
But a mess is all it wasNow we're clinging to people
Who we aren't anymore
Crying over people
Who aren't worth crying forLook at the mess we've become
Look at the life to which we succumbHold my hand
Let's take a step
Let's start laughing more
And crying less
We're much more than this
We're better than their best
So let's go ahead
Let's put it to the testWe can move all their mountains
Drain all their seas
We can survive their burning summers
And their winters when the waters freezeThey think we're nothing
Just a pair of fools
Let's do it, let's show them
They're really the toolsWe can tear down their castles
Their barricades crumbling
We can destroy their dynasty
Their royalty tumblingThey think we're nothing
Just a pair of fools
Let's do it, let's show them
We'll win
