Where have all the smiles gone?
Every street's full of blank faces
Thinking abstract thoughts too distant to comprehend
In rows; everyone in their places
Where has all the chaos gone?
Mischievous children and laughing teens
Now everywhere all I hear is silence
Their personalities have seeped to the concrete through their skinny jeans
Where has all the life gone?
Monotony, technology
Surpassing humanity
Blank eyes on bright screens
The end is now.
