My dandelion wishes
Are drifting on the breeze
Just like countless fallen eyelashes
Crossed fingers and silent pleas
I'm reaching for my lucky star
I'm hoping I don't reach too far
I don't want to trip and fall
But for this I'll risk it all
My whole existence teeter-totters
Reality bends and breaks
Parallel universes rupture
Stars exploding in their wakes
An inferno of emotions
Spirals into a hurricane
I close my eyes and try to focus
To soldier through the pain
I reach through times and spaces
Analyzing endless faces
Trying just to get it right
But for you I'll surely fight
You're perfect, you are
And I know you are somewhere
It's just that that's my problem
However will I get there
