Chapter 20 special (In this chapter, will use author pov not Haejung pov.)

It hurts, Haejung heart, it hurts. So much that nothing can describe it. But Jinhwan? He does not feel the same, not at all. It's a opposite with Haejung.

He's happy, really happy that he got Hyelin. His crush.

Yes, Jinhwan is too dense to realise Haejung feelings for him. He thought she think him as a friend, just like him.

Every night, Hyejung think of Jinhwan. And every night, Jinhwan think of Hyelin.

He's madly in love with Hyelin. And Hyejung is madly in love with Jinhwan.

"Haejung unnie, she's pretty..." The girl beside Jinhwan stated. Their hand slightly brushed with each others.

Jinhwan rubbed his neck and smiled awkwardly.

"Is she?" He said which make the small girl beside him laughed a bit.

"She's your best friend right Hwan ah?" Jinhwan nodded his head.

"I heard that you two are super good friends. And you two stick together a lot. And you two always been mistaken as couple..." She rubbed her neck and Jinhwan look at her and smiled.

Is she jealous? That's what he think.

And yes, she is.

And something he shouldn't went in his mind.

"Hye ah what about this. You can be my best friend too. And I'll treat you like how I treat Haejung! And I will try my best to don't stick with Haejung this much!" And of course, Hyelin don't want him to do that. She 's not those girl that want to separate them. She's kind, really kind.

Hyelin immediately wave her hand in front of her.

"No! No! You don't need to do that for me! Haejung is your best friend! It's normal!" She quickly said in a worried tone. She don't want him to do that.

"Well okay then..." Jinhwan is smart enough to know Hyelin won't stop. And he don't want to argue after this.

But of course, Jinhwan is already planning on spending his time with Hyelin and not Haejung.

He don't want this to end up like the old ones.

That day, is the first he walk Hyelin back home. And also the last day, he really hang out with Haejung.

Haejung miss him, miss him so much that sometimes she will cry herself to sleep.

"I didn't see Jinhwan these few days. How is he?" Whenever her parents ask that, the answer will always be the same.

"I don't know." Her voice will always be moody when she said that.

She miss him, she can't let of him.

Maybe she will never be like this if Junhoe didn't ask her.

Jinhwan run away just like what Haejung want to.

He ran behind a building, he want to see why Haejung is like this. He want to check her out. But at the same time. His phone vibrated, fished out the phone. It's a call from Hyelin.

He hesitated, the both of them is someone who are important to him. He look at Haejung, who is looking down at the ground and look back at the phone, that have Hyelin face on it.

His tighten his grip. He doesn't want to do this, but still. He can't loose her.

He slid his finger to the green button.

"Hello?" He answered...

And little that he don't know...when he answered the call, he also successfully break Haejung heart into pieces.

"Can we meet up Jinhwan...I need you..." With that, he had completely forgot about Haejung.

He ran to Hyelin, he ran away from Haejung.

He ran to Hyelin house that she live alone. Banged on the door a few times while shouting her name. The door opened, revealing Hyelin with a pair of puffy eyes.

As soon as the girl saw Jinhwan. She fall into Jinhwan arms and cried her heart out.

Jinhwan is fast enough to catch her. His eyes full of worried. The same feelings, when Haejung cried in front of him.

She gripped tightly on Jinhwan blazer.

They met just a few hours ago. So it surprise Jinhwan so much. How can she be like this just after a few hours he left.

What happen exactly?

He helped Hyelin into the house and shut the door with his foot.

He helped her to sit down on the couch.

But Hyein never left Jinhwan arms. And so does Jinhwan.

"What happen Hye?" Jinhwan asked with a soft voice as he patted Hyelin back.

"My...my mom...she...she...passed away a few hours ago..." She sobbed out.

His heart hurts seeing her like this. He want to protect her.

"She left me Jinhwan ah..."

"Shh...I'm here Hye...I won't ever leave you..." With that, he successfully got Hyelin heart.

She slightly look up with her puffy eyes."Never?"

Jinhwan smiled and wipe away the girl tears."Never."

The girl finally smiled and buried her face into Jinhwan chest.

"Hwan ah....can I stay by your side forever?" She said, Jinhwan heart melted.

"You mean...as a....?"

"Girl friend."
