Chapter 19

Why do I miss him? It's been more than a week since we last talk. I only saw him during classes. 

And honestly, I'm not used to it. Sometimes I will accidentally call Junhoe Jinhwan.

Walking on this street is the same, from the moment I know how to walk. Jinhwan is always the one with me, walking on this street no matter what time it is, he'll be there.

Every step today is heavy, maybe because Junhoe is not beside me. Or maybe it's Jinhwan.

The whether is freezing and I only have my blazer with me. So I hugged myself tighter and rubbed my arm slightly.

I suddenly heard footstep behind me. And yes, I'm those girl that like to watch k-drama. So the first thing that came up my mind when I heard it.

Is it some kind of guy who are drunk?

My footstep become quicker and my hearts start to beat rapidly.

But the steady footstep I heard suddenly became like he or she is running.

A hand grabbed my shoulder and I shut my eyes and shouted.

"What the hell Hae?! It's just me, Jinhwan!" My eyes widen when I heard that.

It's just him...Jinhwan...

I slowly turn my head to him and open my eyes."Jinhwan?"

"Yes Jinhwan, who do you think I am? Some kind of drunk people?" I nodded and he start laughing.

"But seriously Hae, what are you doing here at this time, alone? Where's that Junhoe?" He asked that as we start walking.

"He's working, we kinda hang out to long in the cafe that he works. So he can't walk me home." I said and rubbed the back of my neck.

"You know Hae ah, it's dangerous to walk alone at this time. There's a few club around here, so it's dangerous to walk back alone at this time. Especially, you're a girl." The voice that is full of concern, the voice that I miss for so long.

Is he worried about me, or does he say this to every girl?

"I have no choice." I said that and he suddenly stop.

"You can always wait for Junhoe in the cafe, just like how I wait for you when you're still working in the cafe. That's what best friend do." Jinhwan said with a warm smile.

My heart is aching, he know that he's not my best friend anymore and he doesn't mind at all.

"Jinhwan, I don't wanna talk about it." I said and continue to walk.

He catch up quickly and walk beside me."Things are getting well between me and Hyelin."

I try me best to not show him that my heart is already broken and I let him continue what ever he want to say.

"And I'm planning on..... you know, tell her my feelings for her." There, I can't hold it back anymore.

"Jinhwan, leave. Run back to your house." I said coldly and clenched my fist while looking down on the ground.

I know this is going to happen, by why am I acting like this. This is what I want, to completely send him away, out of my life.

But my heart still can't accept it.

"What? Why?" It's normal that Jinhwan will feel weird.

"Just go! Leave me alone!" I shouted pushed him.

He hesitate before run away. Worried written all over his face.

I let the tears roll over my cheeks and cry silently. I'm still in love with Jinhwan.

Time skip...

"So nothing happen yesterday right?" Junhoe asked while we're walking to school.

I smiled and ruffles his hair, he have that worried look on his face. I know he felt sorry for not walking me home. So I think I shouldn't tell him about what happen yesterday, it'll make him more guiltier.

"Nothing happen, look at me. I'm still standing in front of you!" I shouted happily and he sigh in relieve.

"I won't let you walk back home alone after the sun sets anymore, don't worry yesterday is the last time." I laughed at his over protective words.

I wrapped my arm around his and we skipped to school together while laughing.

"Hey Hanbin!" I shouted and walked to them.

They look at us, but their face is not like the usual them.

They quickly run to us and pulled me away from the class.

What the hell?

"What are you guys doing?!" I shouted when they pulled me to the stair. They quickly cover my mouth and put their index finger on their lips, gesturing me to be quiet.

I raised my brow, what are they doing?

"Hey guys, mind tell us what happen. And kindly let go of Hae please." Junhoe pulled Yunhyeong sleeves slightly, who is covering my mouth.

"Hae, promise me if I let go of you, you won't shout." He said and I rolled my eyes and nodded.

He slowly let go of me and I sighed and fixed my uniform.

I crossed my arms and stare at them with a annoyed face."Now tell us what happen."

They exchange glances and Hanbin decided to speak up.

"That Jinhwan brought a girl to school, she's from other school. Jinhwan say she want to introduce her to us. We ask him why don't he do it after school, but he say the girl have something else to do. So he brought her here." Hanbin said with a annoyed voice as he stuffed his hand inside his pocket and look to another side.

I look to the ground and trying to calm myself down.

Junhoe slowly walk to me and patted my back slightly. Only he know how I feel.

"And seems like she know you Hae..." Bobby said and rubbed the back of his neck.

"And why do you guys pull me here? Let's go meet her! Come on guys!" I said cheerfully and pulled junhoe and Hanbin.

I pulled them to the class and let go of them.

I saw Hyelin sitting on Jinhwan seat and Jinhwan standing beside her. Talking to each other like a couple.

"Ehem!" Hanbin fake coughed and glare at them. The two look at us and smiled.

Hyelin stood up and Jinhwan held her hand.

"Hello Haejung unnie." Hyelin said with a warm smile on her face.

"Hey Hyelin..." I said with a small smile.

"Uhm guys let me introduce Hyelin...Hyelin these are my friend, Junhoe, Hanbin, Yoojin, Yunhyeong, Bobby, Chanwoo, Donghyuk and of course Haejung that you already met." Jinhwan said to Hyelin and she bowed with the same warm smile that everyone will be melted with it.

"And guys... This is Hyelin, my girl friend."
