Chapter 29

"Kim Jinhwan..." I called out again after realising it was really him. And without me knowing tears start falling out.

I walk closer to him after realising he's not moving at all. I reached out my hand to touch his cheek, but he avoided my touch. Which make me stop what I'm doing.

He must be really mad at me... I'm sorry Jinhwan...

I bit my lower lips and look away pulling back my hand away from him. I fell bad and disappointed at myself.

I stepped away from him, I think that he don't want to see me.

"Why are you here Yoon Haejung? Aren't you suppose to be with Goo Junhoe now?" He asked, my heart feel like it been pinched.

Some tears escaped from my eyes again as I gripped the hem of my dress. The dress that he said it was nice on me.

"I'm sorry... Hwan ah I really am..." I don't know why but after saying those I stepped back more.

After a long while of silence he finally talked again.

"You're shivering?" He asked. I didn't even realise that I'm really cold right now, without my scarf and plus I'm wearing dress and a not so thick coat. I'm someone that really hate cold.

"Are you cold?" He asked again, I hesitated before nodding my head while looking down.

"Just...just come here..." He said again, I looked up at him and saw him looking at the fire.

I bit my bottom lips, I shouldn't go there...he's still mad at me...

"Come here Haejung... I can't see you like this... My heart hurts..." I felt so happy when I heard that, he still care about me...

I slowly walked closer to him and sat down beside him.

"Why do you came?" He asked again, this time with more softness in his voice.

I was thinking what to say, exactly, why do I came here? Why? Why do you choose him over Junhoe?

"Because I realise that you are more important than Junhoe..." I said softly and carefully, avoiding eye contact with him.

"What do you mean?"

ARE YOU SERIOUSLY JINHWAN?! I KNOW YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

I sighed and turn myself to look at him, straight in the eye.

"Kim Jinhwan, you said stop making you fall for me right? So it means you already fell for me right? And you know what? I should say this to you too." I leaned forward to him. "You too, stop making me fall for you deeper and deeper."

There's a long while of silence, he's shocked I can see that. His eyes widen and mouth kept on moving as if he have something to say.

"You...you like me..me?" He asked, I smiled a bit.

"Yes Hwan ah..." His face soften when he heard that.

"I...I never knew...but since when Hae ah?" He asked as he held my hand. I was a little bit surprise. How I missed his warm touch.

"I don't know since when I fell for you, I fell for you without me knowing. I found out all my feelings for you at the trip, when you told me you want me to help you to get Hyelin..." I said and suddenly remembered Hyelin.

"Hwan ah, where's Hyelin?" I asked, his face suddenly change and let go of my hand.

"We broke up... she said it's the best for all of us... After found out my true feelings for you, she's not surprise. She said she knew it. And she let me come and find you..." He said while looking down at the fire.

I feel like I'm a bad person, I separate them...

I bite my lower lips. Why does I feel like, Jinhwan still love her, without him knowing.

"But Hae...I'm glad she did that, or I'll never know how you felt for me." He smiled. His hand pulled mine and quickly into a warm hug.

"I'm really glad that you came Hae ah..." He cried out.

I quickly wrapped my hands around him and hugged back. Another hand patting his back.

"It's okay... I'm here now right? I'll never leave you again." He buried his neck into the crook of my neck.

"I love you Hae ah..." He said softly, I smiled widely and some tears of joy escaped. You don't know how much it mean to me...

"I love you too Hwan ah... so much..." We both chuckled, after awhile he pulled out from the hug, hands still on my shoulders.

Looking straight into my eyes, I can feel something different, I can feel...Love...

"I know this is sudden and fast but Hae... Will you be my girlfriend?" My heart and brain stop functioning when I heard that. Am I dreaming?

The tears can't stop falling and I even get chocked on it. I can't hide my smile. I shut my eyes and nodded my head furiously.

"Yes Jinhwan... I do..." I covered my mouth with my head and cried loudly, years of joy of course.

Jinhwan smiled like a idiot and hugged me. He pulled out a bit and look at my face. His eyes stare at my eyes, nose and lastly on my lips.

Slowly he leaned in and our lips touched. Unlike last time, this time it's much more longer and with more feelings. I responded to the kiss.

I feel in love with my best friend Kim Jinhwan and so does he.
