Chapter 24

He's quiet for a second, thinking what he should say. He tapped his fingers lightly on his laps and staring at the floor.

He looks up and his fingers stopped.

"And I guess it's already happening?" He showed me his smile, but it look bitter this time.

I don't get it... He should be happy.

"Yes..." You can change it you know Jinhwan, but you didn't even bother trying it. Because it is not important to you, not anymore.

Why have a best friend when you already have a girlfriend? Besides the girlfriend is nice and kind and also caring.

"Good then...at least you won't be alone when I'm not beside you..." He just don't he it doesn't he? He already are not by my side.

I blinked my eyes a few times and sighed.

And Junhoe come in just in time. With his wet hair and towel wrapped around his neck. And wearing his plain white sweater. Hot.

I look at him and smiled."Hello."

"Hello?"He laughed a bit and continue drying his hair with the towel. I know it's strange suddenly saying hello.

"You can go now." He turned to Jinhwan and said. Jinhwan stood up from the bed and walk towards to the door.

"I'll wait you down stairs." He then turned to me and said.

He can't stay in the room while I'm bathing in the bathroom that is in my room right? It's just not safe, and weird.

I nodded and make my way to the bathroom.

I locked the bathroom and rested the back of my head on it. Why must he come here when I already decided to forget him...?

Time skip...

I walked downstairs and saw all of them sitting beside the dining table while chatting.

Even Jinhwan and Junhoe have a nice talk.

I walk to them and sit beside Junhoe and opposite Jinhwan.

"Hae you didn't tell me that Jinhwan already got his crush!" Mom said as soon as I sat down.

I look at her for awhile and start eating my food."Is not like you asked."

I can feel that she's glaring at me.

"Aunty don't blame her, she don't like talking about Jinhwan actually." My eyes widen when I heard that coming out from Junhoe. I quickly step on his foot.

"Ouch! What's that for?!" He shouted and I only glared at him.

I pointed at Jinhwan with my finger that is under the table, making sure that Jinhwan won't see that.

He then finally get it."I mean she don't hate to talk about Jinhwan." he fake smiled.

"Okay..." I know mom doesn't trust him but well who cares? It's ok as long as Jinhwan don't know.

I continue eating my food and the chat continues too. But the topic changed, of course. Or else I would leave the table.

"So Jinhwan ah Hoe ah, you two can stay in the living room later right?" Mom asked and the two nodded, since that's their only choice.

"And Hae, I allowed you to stay with them today. But you sleep in the couch and the two sleep on the floor." I chocked myself with the food when mom said that.

Mom only allow me to sleep in the same room with Jinhwan when I'm still small. And she stop letting him when we're 12.

"Mainly because you and Jinhwan are not close anymore and I want you guys to fix it. And also I'm not worry because hoe is also there." She said with a serious face.

I know there's something wrong with me and Jinhwan but I don't think me sleeping in the living room because of that is needed.

"What do you say Jinhwan?" Then all our eyes are on Jinhwan. I can see that he's a bit nervous and panicked.

He scratched the back of his head and smiled awkwardly"Sure? I think we will have a lot to talk about."

I groaned and leaned back. Just why are you doing this? I want to forget you Kim Jinhwan!

"Oh come on Hae! Just think it as a girl sleep over party! Just like you and Yoojin!" Are you serious mom?

"They are boys. Boys." I said and felt the three laughed.

"You're not wrong." Junhoe said and I nodded."But I don't mind." I glared.

"I'm not gonna change my mind, now let's finish our dinner and have a movie night aye?" She clapped her hand together and we continue our food.

But I kinda stuffed the food in my mouth too hard and always chocked myself.

Time skip...

"Pick a movie!" My mom clapped her hand like a little kid and sat on the couch.

I ran my fingers trough the disks. There's so many of them that I want to watch.

But my fingers landed on this. The Fault From Our Stars.

Me and Jinhwan watched this, and cried so much over it.

"What about this?" I showed them the disk and Jinhwan face immediately changed.

"The Fault From Our Stars.." He whispered.

"I like the name. But what is that?" Mom asked and I sighed.

"You're so outdated mom...it's a love story." I said and inserted the disk in to the DVD player.

I sat myself between Jinhwan and Junhoe. While mom solo on the single couch.

The light is off and we all focused on the movie quietly.

But it's getting cold for all of a sudden and I'm searching for the blanket.

But a hand suddenly appear in front of  me with a blanket.

It's Jinhwan...

"I know you too well, so I prepared this." It's my cow blanket. I smiled a bit and took it.

How can I forget you when you're doing this to me? Making me falling for you even more.

First, I'm sorry if this chapter sucks. It's because something happened recently...and it affected me so much, that I can't even write a story normally. But I don't want to let you guys down, I promised you guys to update every weekend. So yeah I did it...but it came out so bad...forgive me...And second, thank you guys so much for the comments!
