Sit Still and Shut up

"This is the one she was just wearing?" Scott asked as Stiles shoved Lydia's hospital gown in his hand.

Thats right. Lydia is missing and she's not wearing anything.  One of Daire's best friends disappeared wearing nothing more than her birthday suit. 

Stiles nodded. "Pretty sure yeah. This was the only other thing in the bathroom."

"Okay," Scott replied, balling the cloth in his hands. "This should work."

Daire and Stiles nodded in response. Daire ran a hand through her dark curls, worried about Lydia.

"I promise we'll find her, okay?" Scott said noticing his friend's distress.

Daire swallowed, " I know and I wont let anyone hurt her again, either"

Scott turned around in the passenger seat of Stiles jeep. At that moment Stiles turned on the ignition. Daire could hear the familiar rumble of the jeep. The headlights flicked on, illuminating the sidewalk in front of them.  A figure jumped right in front of the trio just as Stiles shifted in reverse.

"Oh my Mavis" Daire muttered as she looked to see Allison.

Allison ran around the front of the car, stopping next to Scott's window. He rolled it down quickly and looked around before speaking. "What are you doing here? someone could see us?"

After the night of the crazy ass alpha showdown, it became a lot harder for the two to be together. They tried sneaking around but this led to Daire's uncle holding a gun to Scott's head and forcing her cousin to break up with him.

But of course Daire's family underestimated the power of love. So Allison and Scott are even more careful about sneaking around and only Daire and Stiles know about it, Yay for the sidekicks!

Allison shook her head. "No, I don't care. She's one of my best friends and we need to find her before they do."

"I can find her before the cops can," Scott said.

"I think what she's trying to say is can we find her before our crazy family does, mainly Chris." Daire clarified scooting over in the backseat to let Allison in.

Scott and Stiles eyes looked like they were about to fall out, " Your dad knows?" 

Allison nodded. "Yeah, I just saw him and three other guys leave my house in two SUVs"

"Search party," Scott breathed.

Daire shook her head, "More like a hunting party"

"Get in," Scott relented, throwing the passenger door open.

Allison got in, crawling over her boyfriend. Daire moved over so the two of them could sit in the back seat. As soon as the door closed, Stiles backed out.

As the teens left the parking lot and sped down the street, the questions started.

"Okay, so if she's actually turning will they kill her?" Stiles asked, trying to keep his eyes focused on the road.

Beside Daire, Allison frowned. "I don't know, they wont tell me. The only thing they say is that they'll explain after Kate's funeral. when the others get here."

"What? What others?" Stiles questioned.

Daire could feel her stomach flip flop. Not only does her family ignore her because they think she's weak but now as a newly turned supernatural, if her family ever found out... well Daire didn't want to think about that.

" They wont tell us anything. Not that the told me anything before" Daire muttered in the back seat.

"Okay, so your family has some serious communication issues to work on," Stiles said, his usual tone of sarcasm laced his words. "Scott, are we going the right way?"
