Daire kept one hand against her churning stomach and placed the other on the desk in front of her. Scott stood behind her, hands on her upper arms trying to steady her. Daire wasn't paying any attention though, her eyes trained on the doorway where Matt now stood holding a gun against Stiles' head.

"Matt? It's Matt right?" Mr. Stillinski questioned. Matt cocked his head as he nodded. "Matt, whatever's going on, I can guarantee there's a solution that doesn't involve a gun."

"You know, it's funny you say that because I don't think you're aware of how right you are," Matt replied, his voice condescending.

"I know you don't want to hurt people."

Daire held back her laugh, knowing full well that Mr. Stilinski is wrong, she could feel it.

"Actually, I want to hurt a lot of people," Matt responded. "You four weren't on my list, but I could be persuaded. And one way is to try dialing someone on your cellphone like McCall is doing."

Daire didn't even notice that Scott had moved one of his hands from her arm to his pocket. She glanced up and behind her to see the look of pure panic in his eyes. Not even a moment later she felt a new wave of fear wash over her. Slowly, Daire shut her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to shove all the emotions that were not her own down.

"Yeah, that could definitely get someone hurt. Everyone," Matt said, gesturing to everyone in the room with his gun. Daire cocked her head to the side, now with the emotions more in check she could think more clearly. Like where the holy hell did he get a gun? He had a human killing lizard for Godsake why the hell did he need a gun? Anger flashed in Matt's eyes as he screamed, "Now!"

"Come on," Papa Stilinski said gently, looking at the teenagers.

There was a mutual look of discontent shared between Daire and the boys as they fished their phones out of their pockets. They set them down on the desk before looking back at Matt.

He grinned sadistically as if he found this situation entirely entertaining. Granted at this point Daire wouldn't be surprised if he did find holding them hostage with a killer lizard and gun actually fun, in a twisted way.

Oh, how she wished she was back home reading manga and procrastinating her chemistry homework.

Stiles was quiet as he handcuffed his father to the bench. They were currently in the holding room and Matt wanted Mr. Stilinksi out of the equation. More fun to play with kids your age than adults, Daire guessed. Scott and Daire stood off to the side, Matt in front, gun aimed at the Stilinksis.

Stiles clicked the handcuff into place around his father's wrist and looked up expectantly.

Matt scoffed. "Tighter," he snapped, waving the gun dramatically. Daire kept her eyes on the gun, her body alert just in case Matt's nonchalant attitude caused it to go off accidentally.

"Do what he says," Mr. Stilinski sighed, glancing up at his son.

Stiles looked pissed, biting the inside of his cheek as he clicked the cuff tighter so it was securely around his dad's wrist.

Matt nodded before giving a shove to Stiles' shoulder. He ushered the three of them out of the room and no one argued. Daire paused as she saw the hallway. It was covered in blood, three officers were in the hall, two lying on their backs and another propped up against the wall. Each one of them was covered in their own blood. Daire turned her head to see that not only were their bodies covered in it but the floors and walls too. The blood on the floor formed a streaking pattern as if each of the officers were forcefully dragged away against their will.
