Daire channels Sokka, the face palming king

The four teens continued the search for Lydia. 

At least until Daire walked into a tree, at that point everyone agreed to go home and get some rest. Stiles dropped Allison and Daire at home and the two girls had to sneak in through Daire's bedroom window. Unfortunately Daire would have to face the shit storm that is her life tomorrow. Her mother's public funeral and the family reunion she never wanted but for now the Argent girl fell asleep.

The three teens were walking into school the following morning. Daire and Scott were currently listening to Stiles as he jabbered on about a grave robbery at the cemetery that the Lahey's work at and long story short some poor corpse was missing a liver.

"So you think it was Lydia?" Daire asked, wrinkling her nose. She may be supernatural but that was just plain gross.

"And she ate the liver?" Scott asked, his face contorted in disgust

Stiles sighed. "You guys suck at listening. I didn't  say ate the liver. He just said it was missing. And anyways, the liver is the most nutritious part of the body"

"I never ate anyone's liver," Scott laughed.

" And I don't want to try it... yuck" Daire replied sticking out her tongue in disgust. "Wait Stiles who said the liver was missing?" she asked tilting her head to the side.

" Isaac Lahey, you know the guy you always stare at in chemistry," Stiles replied.

Daire could feel her face heat up, "I do NOT stare, I just zone out cuz... its chemistry and I just end up looking at him," 

Scott and Stiles shared a look before grinning at Daire's now bright red face, "Suuree"

Daire face palmed,"I hate both of you."

Daire had finally convinced Coach Finstock to let her be his assistant or as he liked to call it his lacrosse monkey. Despite what the job is called Daire was now on the team with Scott and Stiles and would hopefully draw less attention to herself if anyone saw her running into the boys locker room to beat up evil alphas or a group of angry Argents. That and she got to stare at yummy muscles. But currently Daire was enjoying that she didn't have to miss Scott and Stiles question Jackass about Lydia.

"Look, if Lydia wants to take a naked hike in the woods, why should I care?" Jackass snapped, leaning against the wall.

Daire wanted to punch him in the face, how freaking oblivious or just incredibly stupid could he be?

"We have a pretty good idea that she might be...turning," Scott whispered cautiously. 

"Turning?" Jackass scoffed.

Daire face palmed, hard.

"Yeah, turning," Scott whispered again.

Jackass raised an eyebrow, "Into...?"

Daire face palmed again, she was pretty sure her forehead was becoming red. Honestly how stupid could Jackson Jackass Whittemore be?

"A unicorn, dumbass! What the hell do you think?" Daire snapped.

Jackass rolled his eyes. "Well I think that if Lydia's turning, that she's not going to be the one needing the help."

"What do you mean?" Scott asked.

"God, you've got it all backwards McCall," he sighed in annoyance. With a cocky grin that really made Daire want to punch him, he continued, " When Lydia was with me, you should have seen the scratch marks she left on me. What do you think she's going to do with a set of real claws?" 

Jackson walked away from the three friends and Daire caught sight of Isaac, and she started staring at him (if Stiles or Scott brought it up she would deny it). Suddenly Isaac caught and held her gaze, a small smile made its way onto his lips. Daire smiled back and it seemed that maybe her one sided crush was about to become something more.

But  as soon as the moment came it was disrupted but Finstock, "Argent get my coffee away from Greenberg!" 

 Her palm met with her forehead and she understood why in the Avatar Sokka always face palmed.

Hello my lovelies long time no update. I'm so sorry I haven't been around lately but here's a new chapter that I hope you all enjoy. As well as an Avatar reference...yes Daire is a geek and so am I. Also CMS hit 14K!!! I am so happy and thankful that you all took the time to read it and are sticking around to read more about this little dork.
