I was in the bathroom, staring at my reflection. It was three in the morning, I woke up from that strange...dream? It must of been a dream, what else could it have been? I sighed as I looked at myself, sweaty and tired. I start running the tap, cold water rushing into the sink. I place my hands under and splash it onto my face, trying to wake myself up. I grip onto the sink and look into the mirror again, water dripping down my face.

What I saw, it was all true. I don't have evidence to prove it but I have a gut feeling, and normally I follow my gut feeling. I should ask Mizuki...but Tomoe wouldn't like me talking to him.

I huffed, splashing more water into my face. I dry my face with a towel and looked back into the mirror. I stared in shock, the mirror was black, pitch black. I gasped, rubbing my eyes fiercely. I then looked back at the mirror, seeing my shocked reflection.

Am I going insane? I must be.

"Is something wrong (Y/n)?" I whip my head towards the door, Tomoe stood at the door, tiredly rubbing his eyes. His eyebrows furrowed, he let out a yawn and looked baffled at me. "Oh it's just you. No, nothing's wrong," I reassured him. Tomoe looked so adorable, with his messy bed hair, tired eyes and ruffled up tail and ears. I feel bad for waking him up, I should have been quieter... I just noticed, his t-shirt–he got changed before getting into bed I guess–was slipping off his shoulders, exposing his neck and chest...

My cheeks instantly got hot. I coughed and looked away. He gave a weak smile, coming closer. "T-Tomoe?" He didn't answer, as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pressing his forehead against mine. "Hmm?" He hummed, eyes gazing into mine. I was lost for words, I didn't know what to do at this moment, just go along with it? He pulled one of his hands up to my face, gently caressing my flushed cheek.

He peck me on the lips and smiled. "It's too early (Y/n), go back to sleep," he suggested. I huffed and looked at the mirror, seeing our reflection. He looked at the mirror too and poked his tongue out, I giggled and exited the bathroom, Tomoe following me.

I can't get those scenes out of my head... They just keep replaying over and over...

I sat on my bed, Tomoe flung himself under the sheets, I rolled my eyes and got under the sheets too. As soon as my head hit the pillow I fell dead asleep. Before I lost consciousness I felt Tomoe's arms wrap around my waist, pulling me near his warm, strong body. Why must he do this too me? To make me feel so wonderful...

I woke up, the sun shining outside. I yawned, suddenly realising that Tomoe wasn't beside me anymore, must be preparing breakfast–or maybe lunch...I don't know exactly what time it was. It was Sunday today so I put on some casual clothes, walking out into the kitchen and seeing Tomoe cooking–as usual.

"Well, hello lady (Y/n). Did you sleep well?" Tomoe asked, placing a bowl on the table–a healthy garden salad. I smile and sit down, "I actually slept fine, what about you Tomoe?" He sighed and rubbed his eyes, he mustn't of slept after me waking him up, oops. "Well I'm still tired, but that won't stop me from doing my daily duties." He yawned. I rolled my eyes and gesture for him to sit with me, he complied and sat in front of me.

As I ate my salad, Tomoe laid his head on the wooden table, a tired expression plastered onto his pale face. He look miserable, just like what Mizuki looked like in my dream...

"Hey Tomoe..." He lifted his head and gazed at me. "Yes?" I gulped and decided to just say it. "Do you know where Mizuki lives?" I hesitantly asked, it went dead silent.

"Pardon? Sorry, I don't think I heard you properly. Can you please repeat that?" He looked quizzically at me, scratching his fox like ears. I sigh and repeat myself, he looked just as baffled as before. "Why the hell would you want to know where that vile snake lives?" His eyebrows furrowed, his face showing confusion and dismay.

"It's complicated... All you need to know is that it is very important that I talk to him," Tomoe looked at me in anger, like I just asked him to go jump off a cliff. "What's so important?"

"I can't tell you, it's hard to explain..."

"Well I need an explanation before I allow you to go frolicking around with that wretched snake!" He shouted, I think unintentionally, because he then lowered his voice.

"I'm not going to frolic with anyone! I just need to talk to him..."I retorted. He sighed before continuing.

"...Look, (Y/n)... Mizuki and I used to get along, that is until he did something... Something I will never forgive..."

Was he talking about the night Nanami disappeared? But Mizuki didn't...

"And I just want you to be safe. So you must not see him, do you understand?" I sighed and nodded, Tomoe smiled. I stood up and placed my dirty bowl in the sink before heading for the door.

"Where are you going?" Tomoe asked, I huffed and spun around to face him. He gave me a look of suspicion.

"I already told you yesterday. I need to go out and buy more groceries, we are running low on food." I replied, my hand hovered over the door knob. His suspicion instantly went away. He nodded, letting me leave the shrine.

I lied slightly. We did need groceries, but I also wanted to search for Mizuki along the way. I had to talk to him, it was my top priority.

As I maneuverer my way through the busy street, I search for the closest grocer. I finally found a small grocer, I bought all I needed and started wandering around, searching for any signs of Mizuki. In the heat of the moment I suddenly ran into someone, dropping all my bags in the process. All the food spilled out of the bags and I huffed in annoyance.

"Well that's just great! Watch where you're going, idiot." I said, exasperated. As I scrambled to collect my bags, I heard someone grunting and grumbling. I ran into a guy, his hair was a crimson red, pale Ivory skin and his eyes–which were shrouded with goth makeup...–were a dull black. He looked pretty pissed off.

"Hey, little girl! Don't call me an idiot, all have you know, I am a famous idol! So don't call me such things." He grunted, as he pulled himself up. I rolled my eyes, finally gathering my groceries.

"Geez sorry, I'm kinda in a rush. Need to find Mizuki. Once again, I am sorry, goodbye." I blurted out as I started to speed walk away. I was glad to finally get away from that jerk, he was too arrogant for my liking. Now with that dilemma out of the way, I could quickly continue to search for the white haired boy once again.
