Sorry that it's been a while! But here's a chapter, shorter than my usual ones but at least it's something :)

Tomoe's P.O.V
I'm going to kill him.
I rummage through (Y/n)'s room, searching through draws and closets.
Is there anything in here that'll remind (Y/n) of who I am??
Nothing.
I throw my arms up in exasperation and shrink to the ground, all the hope I ever had disappears into thin air.
Wait. . .
I freeze.
Mizuki. . .
I jolt to my feet.
Mizuki carries around that Time traveling Incense Burner. . .
I clumsily sprint out of the room, my feet taking long strides as I bound out of the shrine and down the stone stairs, skipping at least three at a time.
Where would Mizuki be right now?
I sprint down the street, dodging the confused people walking past.
The grocery store?
No.
The school?
No, of course not.
Where?!
I speedily run around town, my eyes scanning the area, trying to find the familiar white haired boy.
And there he was.
In the park, sitting beside the lake.
I storm towards him, almost out of breath.
"MIZUKI!"
I yell, even though I'm only a metre away. Startled, the snake boy's head jerks behind him, looking up at me with surprised eyes.
"Oh Tomoe!" His face brightened immensely, his eyes squinting and his lips curled.
"Why isn't it a surprise to see you out of that stinky shrine of yours," he glances back at the lake, "it's about time you got some fresh air."
I glare daggers at my fellow familiar as he swished his hand in the water of the clear lake.
"Do you have that Time traveling Incense Burner with you?"
I blurt out, absolutely desperate for an answer.
This will be the only way for (Y/n) to ever believe me, for her to believe that I'm not some vicious beast. . . Well. . . Not anymore. This is the only way to get her back. . .
Mizuki' eyebrows furrow and his smile fades.
"Yes, but why wou–"
"Oh thank god, I need to use it now, to help (Y/n) regain her memory."
My words exploded out of my mouth, they were masked behind need and desperateness.
I grab Mizuki by the forearm and pull him to his feet, dragging him into the busy streets again.
"W-where are we going?"
I didn't answer Mizuki, I was too concerned with what my next move was?
'Should I get Mizuki to speak to her?'
'Should we go straight to Kurama's?'
'What will she do if she sees me?'
Too many thoughts were buzzing in the back of my mind as we stride in the general direction of Kurama's house.
Mizuki's arms stiffen and I suddenly feel him come to a sudden stop, his arm tugging against my grip.
"Where are we going Tomoe?!"
He shouts, irritation clear on his pale face. I huff and roll my eyes.
"Kurama's house, to see (Y/n). She remembers you, but not me. So we need to use the traveling Incense Burner to jog her memory."
I blurt out in a hurried attempt to get Mizuki to move. His expression twitches into a shocked gasp, then his eyes widen.
"She remembers me?"
He asked blatantly, I growl at his words and clench my hand around his arm.
"Yes, now lets hurry."
He winces at my harsh touch. He nods and continues to walk along side me.
Thank you Mizuki.
I started to pick up the pace.
Thank you so much.
Mizuki smiled daintily, but somehow pathetically, at me as we drew closer to our final destination.
Oh god please let this work. . .

Reader's P.O.V
A sudden knock resonants from the front door, causing my ears to perk at the sound of Kurama's feet padding to answer it.
From the bedroom it was hard to hear the muffled voices, two males?
They both sounded oddly familiar. . .
I slowly sit myself up, and crawl off the bed. I warily saunter to the door, shifting it open just a tad, just enough for me to look through.
I wish I never left the bed.
Tomoe was at the door, with the white haired boy–Mizuki? Yeah that's his name.
"What's he doing here?" I mumbled to myself as my eyes narrowed on the silvered hair man. He looked troubled, while Mizuki looked over the moon happy as he shifted impatiently on his toes.
Kurama's was casually chatting with them, Tomoe nodding and speaking also. What caught my attention was what Mizuki had tucked under his arm.
A weird incense burning?
I didn't get a chance ponder on that thought as Kurama greeted them inside and they started to venture towards me.
Panicked, I scurry back into bed and pretend I'm still asleep. I calm down my heart and steady my breaths, the door creaks as footsteps enter the room.
What are they doing here?
