Akura Ou's P.O.V

I wonder how Tomoe is dealing with this?

I thought to myself, as I carried (Y/n) over my right shoulder.

He must be so pissed.

Bet he's stressing out, doesn't know where to find me.

I chuckled.

Perfect.

(Y/n) wasn't heavy at all, she was quite light but since I was currently in my human form, I was weaker than usual. She looked peaceful, maybe because she'd been drugged but still, her peaceful face calmed me even more as I trekked into a clearing.

The moonlight had shone down onto the foliage, through the tree's leaves, causing shadows and silhouette to grace the grassy forest floor.

Taking a short break, I throw (Y/n) onto the ground.

Her face still tranquil as her body hits the ground hard.

A thought crossed my mind.

Better tie her back up, or she'll decide to become rebellious and run off on me.

I grabbed the rope I discarded earlier and secured the rope tight around (Y/n)'s thin wrists. I then grabbed a piece of fabric from my pocket and kneeled down.

I grasped (Y/n)'s jaw, admiring her sleeping features before opening her mouth slightly.

With the fabric pulled taut into a thin strip, I place it between the back row of teeth and tie it behind her head, making sure it's tight enough so that she can't talk.

Leaving her mouth ajar with the fabric between her teeth, I sigh, sitting bedside her and gazing at the cloudy night sky.

"Pretty overcast tonight."

The clouds drew thin grey lines across the crescent moon and faded stars.

"Hopefully it doesn't rain. . ."

I wasn't expecting a response from a drugged human girl, yet I still spoke as if I was going to get an answer.

"Well, we better get moving again. Places to go, people to see."

I slipped my arm under (Y/n)'s torso swiftly and throw her over my right shoulder once again.

Once I have her steadied on my shoulder, I continued to trek deeper into the forest.

I had been walking for around an hour and I had finally reached my destination.

A cave on the outskirts of town, it was isolated and tranquil, perfect for keeping a hostage.

I used to occasionally come to this exact cave, in an attempt to harness my yokai powers and just to think things over.

(Y/n) was still drugged and limb, I laid her down on the dirt floor.

She should be conscious any minute now.

Heedlessly, I sit myself on a rock and lean my head against the cavern.

"Hmp, being a human is so bothersome, having to take rests every day."

I mumbled as my eyes grew tired and I let out a exaggerated yawn.

A few minutes of sleep should be enough. . .

I let myself fall asleep, all of my thoughts dissipate.

Where. . . Am I?

I slowly pry my heavy lidded eyes.

My vision was distorted.

Hazed.

Where is. . . Akura Ou?

I blink a few times and scan my surroundings.

Akura Ou lay on a rock, his head titled back slightly.

He's asleep?

I stiffen.

Nows my chance!

I go to place my hands in front of me, only to find that they have been re-tied behind my back, and my mouth has been gagged with a piece of cloth.

What the hell??

I move my jaw around in an attempt to loosen the cloth, but it had been tied so tight that it was actually hurting my jaw whenever I moved it.

Great, he drugged me and now I'm tied up again.

I lay my head back on the cold stone ground of the. . . It looked like a cave?

How will I ever escape?

Some movement came from Akura Ou's direction, he had shifted his feet around and tilted his head away from me.

Oh Tomoe, please come save me. . .

For the last hour or so I just laid there.

Time moved slow as I surveyed the cave over and over.

Imprinting every little crevice and crack on the rock that Akura Ou was stilling on in my mind.

Akura Ou had shifted in his sleep around about twelve times.

A bird entered the cave but then flew out almost immediately.

I had been grinding my teeth against the cloth, trying to wither it away.

I think it was working. . .

I hope it was working. . .

"(Y/n). . .?"

My head jolted at the whispering voice that mentioned of my name.

Tomoe?
