His Name!

The next day was a long and tiring monday. I got down the bus; tired. But I instantly felt energised on seeing a calm figure sitting on the bench at the stop; reading the book.

I hastily walked towards him. He was immersed in his book;

ME: Hello.... sir!

HE: Sir?!
He looked around.
HE: Are you talking to me???

I couldn't help but laugh!
ME: I mean.. you are elder to me... umm .. so I did not know how to address you!
I sat down beside him (with my bag between us).

HE: How old do you think I am?

I looked at him for a moment, **he was tall and had a strong built.. a perfect built! But his face looked cute!!**

(Please do forgive me for being very bad at describing!! I really am horrible.. but one thing... he looked so awsome.. so dignified... in one word; he looked GODLY!!!!! Any girl would fall for him!!! But the strange thing is even guys don't feel like envying him!!)

ME: May be around 20-25!

HE: Good estimation but take the average of it.

ME: 22 and 1/2??
I said .. a bit annoyed.. **why did I have to undergo this quiz?**

He smiled and nodded.
HE: So better not call me sir!
**He seemed offended!**

ME: Sorry!!

He laughed!
HE: I was just having fun, nfo need to say sorry.

I smiled back.
ME: So what should I call you?

HE: What will you call me?

ME: I.. don't know!! I am Radha!
I held out my hand.. **there should atleast be a formal introduction!**

He shook my hand.
HE: I know!
He smiled.

I frowned .. first- I was expecting him to tell his name. But he never did that!
Second- How did he know my name?

I noticed his black playful eyes peeping right into me as if he was reading each of my thought.. I got a shiver down my spine! I don't know why, but I got an intense gut feeling that it is very difficult to hide anything from those eyes. **They were like an ocean... calm and deep.. but I realised; they could also get as playful as a stream in mountains.. especially when he laughs...**

He gave a mischievious smile!
HE: Are you wondering how I came to know your name?

**Ok so may be he can read thoughts!!
Wait! Have I gone nuts? How is that even possible?**

I tried to hide my astonishment. **This is not going to be easy between us!**

He gave a really naughty smile and pointed towards my neck.
I looked down...
**OMG! I knew I was stupid.. but to this extent!!**

ME: My ID card!

He nodded and started laughing. I joined in.

After a good laugh,
ME: May I know your name?

HE: What name?
He just stopped laughing.

**What name??! What does he mean?**
ME: YOUR NAME!

HE: Why do you want it?

It took me few sec to process it.. suddenly the atmosphere got slightly heated...
**Or was it my temper?**

ME: What do you mean by ' why do want it' ? We were supposed to be friends right!?

HE: Not supposed to be...

There was tension in the air..
Tears started forming in my eyes.. excuse me Tears?!!!
**Why did I suddenly get so emotional?**

ME: But.. but that chocolate?!
My voice cracked

He started laughing again..
HE: You are so cute when you cry!! I meant to say.. we are not supposed to be friends.. But we ARE friends.

** How did I end up looking foolish twice today?**
(I did not know then, that this would be my condition whenever I meet him!)
I wiped my tears and waited for him to tell me his name.. I was eager!
But he did not speak.

ME: So...

HE: So...

ME: Are you not going to tell me your name?

HE: Why should I?

ME: What should I call you then?

HE: Call me what you want.

ME: How is that possible?

HE: Why is it not?

I got annoyed..
ME: Don't you have a name?

HE: I obviously do!

ME: Then tell me!
I demanded.

HE: Which one?

ME: Wha... how many do you have?
I asked sarcastically

HE: Many!

ME: What?.. how?..

HE: That is why.. call me what you want.!

Ok.. fine.. don't tell me if you don't want to.
I swiftly got up and started walking away ..

** What was wrong with this guy? Why did he not tell his name? **

** Somehow he seemed to have mastered the skill of irritating me!**

I decided to stop talking to him.. I hate arrogant people!!!
