Mari's POV
I was going to be bald by the end of this book. I was just cleaning when Aaron disappeared. Where could he be now?
"Aar-" I was about to call out for him when I got cut off. He walked through the door not noticing me, probably because his attention was focused to the person he was holding in his arms. I went to follow him into his bedroom.
"Aaron? Who is that?" I whispered, afraid to wake up the boy.
"He's my little brother, but he's only younger by a year"
"Oh" He was very cute for his little brother, they almost looked like twins.
I noticed Aaron looking down at his sleeping brother with sad eyes. I left the room to give them some privacy.
Aaron's POV
I saw that Mari left the room quietly. I was about to tell her it's okay when I looked down at my brother. I knew him too well. I went ahead to tell him though.
"You don't need to fake sleeping, Seth."
"Dang, you know me too well, Aaron."
"I wonder why I'm your brother then" I joked. He laughed, then looked up at me. I looked away. God, I couldn't look at those eyes. They reminded me of too many hurtful memories.

"Mommy, where are you going?"
"Shh, sweetheart, mommy isn't going anywhere" How could she expect me to not know? She was getting stressed, sweat was beading on her forehead, panic was in her orange eyes. I wonder why she has orange eyes. But I knew what she was doing so might as well not get caught.
"Let me help you mommy, I already know, I'm not dumb"
"Oh, thank you Aaron, I love you," she kissed my forehead, " I promise I'll be back one day." She picked up her suitcase and was just about to leave our cozy home when father came to visit. Why? Of course he knew. That stalker. Mother looked dumbfounded.
Father evilly smirked. "Are you going anywhere?" He thought that he caught her in the act.
"Only to visit my sister. I thought you knew, Loren? Such a "good husband" you are." She said matter-of-factory. Deep inside, I was cheering for my mom and hoping for her to win.
"Stop it." Loren glanced over at me. I looked down at my shoes. Here he goes again with his stalking powers.
"You," he looked back at my mom, "Disgust me. Trying to run away from your own family. After all I've done for you."
My mother burst out laughing, "After what YOU'VE done for me? Nothing is all you've done, Loren." My mother knew her fate after that. She could've said something else to change what he would've done, but she was a very honest person and wanted to see him regretful and hurt. She wanted to try, and she was testing him.
"Any last words?" Loren looked like he was getting bored.
My mother looked over at me with sad eyes. Sad orange eyes.
"Aaron, Seth, I love you two. Very much. Please, don't be like this man," Mother rolled her eyes at Loren, "I hope you two live a very happy life filled with love, and bravery, and happiness. And you, Loren, I hope you live your dark life alone like the man I hate."
Tears started falling from my mother's eyes. Sad orange eyes. Tears started to blur my own vision. I noticed Loren smile.
"Now, Aaron, Seth, look, I would use some typical magic to kill someone, but when you want to go out in style, use an old fashion gun. This will be a very important message for you two "sons". Don't cross me. Ever."
I must've blacked out since I don't know what else could've happened.
Before I blacked out, I witnessed what Loren did.
Loren killed his wife, my friend, my family, my mother.
