Mari's POV

I was about to leave Aaron alone when I heard him talking to his brother. I put my ear on the door, and I heard crying. And it wasn't his little brother crying, it was Aaron.

"Aw, please don't cry, Aaron." I heard muffled through the door.

"I'm not crying, Seth."

"Oh, then your eyes must be sweating then, Aaron, I thought you were crying!" I could hear the heavy sarcasm in his voice. This made Aaron laugh. I smiled. They're acting just like brothers. I slightly laughed, and next thing you know, I fell. I leaned against the door, which wasn't closed completely, and fell into the room.

"Ugh..." I groaned from hitting the floor. They just burst out laughing.

"Stop it." I pretended to demand them.

"No thanks" they said in unison.

"Oh, you'll pay" I threatened.

"Oh, really?" They in unison once again.

"Do you guys practice that or something?"

"No" They said together,

"Why would we do that?" They asked. Now they started arguing with each other.

"Stop it." They told each other at the same time.

"No, you stop it" I'm starting to run out of ways to say unison now.

"Guys?"

"What?" They asked bored. I smirked while they looked at each other confused. I jumped on Aaron's back and started tickling him. He almost immediately fell to the ground from laughing. Then, his little brother decided to try to sneak away.

"Oh no you don't." I said trying to get over to him, but he did some weird hand movements like sign language, but not. I looked back and Aaron was responding back to his brother with another set of hand movements. That probably gave them enough time to stall me. This reminded me of my father.

------------------------------

"Don't Dad. Don't come near me, you wouldn't dare to do so." I laughed from the chandelier.

"Get down from there Mari, you'll get hurt" Father said matter-of-factly.

"But I have magic Dad" I pretended to reassure him. He gave up and I proudly smiled as I got my way once again. Then as soon as my smile came, it disappeared just as quickly. He looked at me, and I immediately jumped down from the high ceiling.

"What's wrong, Dad?" I questioned.

"I love you, and your sister, and your brother, and your mom. Remember that okay?" He had a worried look in his eyes.

"Dad, why are you saying those things, I know you love us, why are you so worried?"

"I'll see you again in another land someday farther than mine hopefully, Marilynn. Just try one day. Try to stop Loren."

I didn't exactly know what he was talking about, but I had an idea. I hugged him, and he hugged me back.

"I love you Daddy" I haven't called him that since I was five. He left me in the living room to say goodbye to the others.

"I'll try" I promised. I doubted he could hear me, but I could feel him smile from across the house.

------------------------------

"Hey, wait a minute..." Before I could process what was happening in my mind, Aaron grabbed onto me while his little brother got away, closing the door to the room.

"What are you doing now?" I asked Aaron.

"Do you want another tickle fest?"

"No, no! Please not again" I begged him.

He smirked. "There's nothing you can do about it, love, I can tickle you no matter what you do"

"Don't. I'll do anything. Just don't." I offered him, then I realized my mistake. Why did I say anything? Stupid me. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.

Aaron stood up, and walked over to the door. "I'll keep that offer in mind, M" Aaron left the room.

Did he just call me M? I smiled. But then it vanished almost instantly. What was he going to make me do?
