Mari's POV

I woke up in a blank white room. There was nothing in here but a table, a mirror behind me, and another chair in front of me. I tried standing up, but then I realized that I was tied to the freaking chair. I looked around nervously. You never knew what could happen. While waiting, I looked at the mirror, my once vibrant purple eyes have dulled into a dark blue, I looked almost like a normal person...

Five minutes later, I started hearing a commotion outside. The two voices sounded familiar.

"What the Crap, Seth?!" One of them said. Seth...so it must be Aaron's little brother.

"What?" You told me to use it, but you never said how much! And I thought you wanted her dead in the first place!"

"Shut your trap. Or you'll be the one dead."

They stopped talking after that. I heard the footsteps coming closer and closer until the door started to open. I pretended to be asleep, and it must've worked because I heard the talking again outside.

"She's still asleep, Boss"

"Probably because you killed her you idiot!" I cringed at the huge smack he must've gave Seth.

"Ouch!"

"Now, go get ready."

"Fine." Seth muttered.

Well, I guess they just left me here to sit for all eternity in the boringness.

Mari....

Woah, what is that.

It's me, Aaron, I'm talking to you through telepathy nonsense and stuff.

Oh, where are you? I'm kind of stuck in a chair you know...

I'm stuck to one too, we need to get out of here, but knowing those two, the stuff they probably used one of the elixirs to temporarily get rid of our magical abilities...

Wait, they're coming back, I'll talk to you later, Aaron...

The door opened, and guess who came in...

Wait, it can't be, not you too...

Aaron's POV

"Argh!" I tried to force the ropes off my hands. I guess Seth did get some better training after all, unless he didn't do it himself.

"It won't help you anyway to try Aaron, it will only make it worse." Someone had come into the room unnoticed, and he used his magic to tighten to ropes around my wrists. I winced at the extreme tighten probably cutting off my blood stream or something.

"What do you want." I glared at him.

"Oh, nothing brother...we just want the girl. We got you, so you wouldn't be able to save her. You'll just be sitting here while we keep her. And harvest her power..."

I struggled against the ropes while he laughed.

"You will pay for this. I was wrong when I thought you changed. You're still the evil person like him. Soon, you'll be the most evil person I hate" I practically growled the words out, thinking that I probably failed trying to be intimidating. But I saw the tears forming at the corners of his eyes. I smirked.

"Stop it, I've grown stronger, Aaron, your words don't affect me anymore" He ran out of the room, and I heard mumbles of a lecture and a smack. I cringed.

"What the Crap?!" I heard Loren say.

"I'm sorry" Seth sniffled.

"Just go and get the answers" Loren said clearly bored.

"Yes sir" the footsteps slowly faded out.

For the first time, I felt helpless, I didn't have anything to save mysel-, wait a second. My own thoughts interrupted me. I tried turning into a werewolf and it worked! Bullseye! You guys could take away my magic, but you can't take my wolf. I turned back into a human, and walked up to the door. I put my ear against it, and heard silence. That changed really quickly.

Mari's POV

I spit out blood.

"Why would I listened to your commands?" I mocked Seth.

"Because...because I'll hurt you!" He couldn't even hit me, I mean he did, but I've felt worse. I've felt death.

"You're too scared to hit a girl, Seth, You don't belong here. You're too weak" Maybe I shouldn't try to comfort him.

He looked angry, his eyes were filled with rage, but also sympathy. Hmm, he had orange eyes, but Aaron had blue...interesting...

He tried slapping me, but he stopped. I smirked, I was getting to him.

"You're right" He said, pure rage in his voice "But I will learn, and I'll be better than you!" He slapped me again.

I felt another metallic taste in my mouth. He couldn't hit this hard, and he knew it. He was very skinny, almost no muscle. He probably used magic to help himself. Ha! I started laughing. He couldn't even hit, he had to use Magic to help him.

"Stop it, I'm not weak" Ha! Now he was reading my mind. Or maybe I was going insane?

He got bored, and started leaving the room. "Say bye to magic very soon, Marilynn. Very soon" How did he know my full name? Before I could ask, he left the room. I felt so helpless, but I felt a sudden surge through my body. I grunted at the unknown feeling. I bet the poison was wearing off. I smirked. They did not know I what was going to happen. I looked him the mirror on the wall behind me. The unknown dark blue eyes started sparkling. I smiled. There are those purple eyes, welcome back, Marilynn.

I easily broke through the ropes in one try. I stood up only to come face to face with my worst enemy.

Loren.
