Chapter 20: Sorry

Aaron's POV

Once I finally got home to my safe little cottage, I stood there like an idiot. Of course my cottage had been destroyed. I started walking through the debris left, finding little things that hadn't been destroyed. There was a picture of my mother, brother, me, and Loren. Except that his face was scratched out by a marker. I smiled at the memories.

"Looking for something?" Someone asked. I turned around looking at this particular person. It was my brother. The one who I trusted. The one who betrayed me.

"Yeah,I was looking for a loving family, but I guess all wishes don't come true do they?" I said through gritted teeth.

"I'm sorry." He said truthfully.

"I'm sorry too. Sorry for you, Seth." I started to walk away from him.

"Wait!" He called out. I stopped in my tracks. I couldn't look back. If I do, I might not be able to walk away.

"Just, I'm sorry, I understand if you don't forgive me, but I'm sorry, and I'll always be. I'm sorry for lying to you. I'm sorry I'm not a good enough brother. I'm just sorry." I nodded, and kept walking the other direction.

"Oh, and Mari isn't part of our family. Jerald wasn't either. They were kidnapped. Remember, she's royalty." He told me, and that's the last thing I heard. So Mari wasn't my cousin. Too bad I don't love her like that anymore. As I walked away, I heard him walk the other direction. I would miss him very much. I mean, who wouldn't miss their sibling no matter what they have done to you? Silent tears trailed down my cheeks.

Not all Happy Endings come true. Especially not mine.

That ending was sad to me, but it is sorta true. Happy Endings don't always come true. Some are better.

I am writing a sequel to this book, so if you wanted to read it, it will be called Hidden In The Night. This book will mostly be focused on Werewolves than witches, so yeah... This book will be mostly about Seth and another girl. But characters from this book might be in that book too.

I also might create a book called Magic Potions continuing Aaron's and Mari's story...maybe...

I'm also going to write a book called Poem Souls, so if you wanted, you could read that too. Or not...
