Have you ever wanted to cry, but no tears come out. So you just stare blankly into space, while feeling your heart break into a million pieces.
And the pieces fell, covering my feet,
The pain that existed there gave heat...
To the burning sensation engulfing my head,
My throat and my eyes, as I lay in bed.
I mean, I just lay there and think of you,
The pain I've suffered,
What you put me through.
It's hard to believe I still love,
And it hurts that I see you and him,
It hurts as my light flickers dim.
So as I choke back these tears,
I hold on and try to bare,
The pain killing me slowly,
A pain killing me coldly.
