[The Jung Household]
Sooyeon paces back and forth in anticipation for Soojung's arrival. Their mom told her that her younger sister was going to Soonyoung's house go study, but it's now 10:37 and she's not home yet.
No messages, no calls.
"Honey, how can you let out 19 year old daughter go out at such a late time?" Mr. Jung argues but doesn't dare raise his voice at his wife. Mrs. Jung holds her wrist up to her nose and cries softly.
"Mom, Dad, it's alright. I'm sure—"
"She's not even answering our calls, Sooyeon!" He half-yells from the kitchen, who's standing next to his beloved wife.
"You know what? I'm just going to go find her myself." Sooyeon grabs her jacket and phone and opens the door. Her parents' yells of disagreement bounce throughout the room, but she's already outside by the time her parents finish their sentence.
Slipping the jacket through her limbs as she runs, Sooyeon presses on the 'Dear Dongsaeng ♡' contact and holds the phone up to her ear.
3 rings pass and still no answer. Sooyeon swears and runs across the street even though a car is about 5 meters away from her.
An impossible thought goes through the cells of her brain.
"Did that girl..."
Sooyeon's eyes widen out of sense of reality.
"...go to the fence? No, of course she did! She got there and somehow the North Korean..." she can't finish saying it with her own mouth.
"...There's a tracker in her phone! I can track her phone down!" Sooyeon emphasizes with such relief and excitement that the app is running within seconds. The blue dot on the screen shows where Sooyeon's current location is, the green and purple are her parents, and the red dot...
"It's... moving? The dot is moving."
