The light flickers in the hallway as the minutes pass by one by one. A small breeze from the AC in the hallway flies towards Soojung's cells and gives off a different vibe.

Jongin looks at the sleeping beauty with such curiosity; he's never, ever met a Korean female with such pale skin. The only type of skin tone he's seen is either lighter tan or tan. Seeing a Western-like Korean is strange to him, but it's not a bad thing.

Leaving his left hand by hers, Jongin pulls his hand up to the edges of her face. His fingers barely draw her jawline and stops at her cheeks.

He sighs and pulls his hand away with regret in his heart. Closing his eyes, he pulls his head closer to his chest and softly sobs. The sobs define how much he wants to be able to fall in love with her, but his job is stopping him from doing so.

"Why are you crying?"

Jongin stops crying and sluggishly pulls his head up to look at her. He pulls his hands into his lap after wiping his face away from the wet tears.

"Y— you're awake?" He stammers, awkwardly looking around the room even though it's dark as his pulils.

"Are you alright?" She mutters, still dreaming in another world.

"Of.. course."

She smiles and falls asleep again.

He continues crying to himself, all alone with no one to support him other than the beauty who's asleep.
