I was so not excited as Cassidy and I waited for Luke and Ar-Satan to show up the next night. I tapped my fingers against the table of the diner annoyed as Cass was playing on her phone. We hadn't spoken much since we both arrived. I check the time eon my phone.

7:20 PM

The pair were twenty minutes late. Oh my fucking god. If you're going to organise something don't how up twenty minutes late. We were supposed to be getting dinner before seeing a movie. But looks like we'd have to skip dinner.

When the two finally decided to show their faces it was half past. Arzaylea kept running her fingers through her hair and Luke's was kinda messy; a red spot peeking out from under his shirt collar.

"Sorry we're late," he grinned.

I rolled my eyes and Cassidy decided to respond since she guessed I wasn't going to, "no problem. We haven't been here long," she lied.

"Really?" the she-devil spoke.

"Ye-"

"No," I cut in, unamused. "If you're going to have a quickie in the back seat, next time make sure it's quick," I advised and stood up.

Cassidy got out and I followed. As e headed towards the theatre she tired to hold my hand but I just shoved mine in the pocket to my shorts. I wasn't in the mood for her bullshit.

"What are we seeing again?" oh god her voice annoyed me.

"Krampus," Luke told her, his arm slung over her shoulder.

"That sounds scary," she whined.

I rolled my eyes, "that's because it is," I said, not looking at her.

"I don't like scary movies," she whined again.

"I'll protect you," he whispered but I heard him loud and clear.

I scoffed then tired to cover it with a cough. God I was gonna kill someone by the end of the night. We paid for our tickets, brought snacks then made our way into the theatre. Luke immediately put his arm around his girlfriend and I rolled my eyes.

"Gee Ash, great job at being subtle," Cassidy whispered to me.

"Shut up," I deadpanned.

"Just let it go," she grumbled and started eating popcorn.

Occasionally I'd look over and Arzaylea would catch me. She'd also smirk and kiss Luke when she knew I was subtly watching. Holy fuck did it make me mad.

Half way through the movie, little miss "I'm so fucking perfect" kept squealing and dramatically clutching Luke's shirt. It had been going on for five minutes. I couldn't fucking take it anymore. I abruptly stood up and walked out, throwing all snacks.

"Ash!" a feminine voice called out a minute later.

"I'm going home," I said, not looking back.

"Just ignore her. C'mon don't let them ruin tonight," she begged.

"Why do you care anyway? We're not together. We're not getting back together. Yesterday was a mistake Cassidy," I told her.

"Oh. So now what I want doesn't matter?" she asked.

"It never matter oh my god," I sighed heavily after.

"I see," she frowned. "Thanks for nothing Ash," I saluted her as she barged past.

"Ashlynn," Luke seemed to be in shock.

"Oh perfect," I grumbled.

"What the hell is going on?" he asked as he walked closer, Ar-Satan trailing behind.

"I'm going home," I waved and tried to leave but he grabbed my arm.

"What's your deal?" he questioned, staring down at me.

"Nothing," I lied but he rolled his eyes.

"Does this have to do with me?" bitch face asked.

"You stay out of this!" I shouted at her, attracting attention.

"Don't talk to her like that," I rolled my eyes but he shook his head. "I'm so glad you never wanted to be with me. Then I'd have to deal with shit like this."

"Well congrats Luke. You've officially realised I'm not worth it. Fantastic job," I clapped.

"Fuck you Ashlynn," he scoffed.

"But you already have. Several times," I reminded him.

"I hate you," he told me and started walking back to her.

"Yeah well so do I so," I said then walked out.

I shook my head and made my way to my car. I didn't need Luke or Cassidy for my life to keep going. I'd just...party and...drink. Yeah, that sounded like a great idea. That's what I'm gonna do.
