It’s just the beginning.

I tried to chill and forget about whatever I've said to Jack just now. I just get to my class and study. Nothing will bother me right now. As my classes finish, I read some books and get back to my old days- be a nerd,don'tbe a jerk. Suddenly I remember that Mrs. Farrow is waiting for me at her room. I am seriously late. Mrs. Farrow is not an easy dealer. She is looking forward for the head discipline teacher position. Just imagine how she is acting right now.

            I sneak in Mrs. Farrow room and try not to make Mrs. Farrow see me. Unfortunately, she saw me. “Christina Anderson, do you know what is the time now?” “Yes Mrs. Farrow, its 2.00pm now. That’s a nice watch you have Mrs. Farrow but what a waste that it’s not functioning well.” I can hear some of the students are laughing right now. “Have a seat, Miss Anderson.” Phew, that was close. “I gather all of you here is to announce that our school is hosting the ‘International Dance Competition’. Contestants from China, India, Japan and so much more are going to be our rivals. The theme is not given so I’m asking for opinions. Anyone can give their opinion.”

            A dance competition. That sounds fun. Some students gave their opinion and it’s not that easy. Tap dance, ballet and even salsa. What do they think this competition is? I put up my hand and offered my opinion. “What about break-dance?” Everyone is looking at me now with their zombie I-want-to-eat-your-brain look. “That’s a good idea Christina. Now, I need votes from all of you.”

            Okay, I think no one’s going to vote for my idea. Seriously, why did I say that in the first place? Now I’m a total lame person. “Tap dance, 2 votes. Ballet, 3 votes, Salsa, 10 votes and Break-dance, 15 votes. So we know now that our winner is break-dance. I’m not going to make all the decision or preparation but I’m going to make sure everything went smoothly. Your president, Lynda is going to guide all of you. Practice is going to be on every Monday, so that’ll be in another three days time from today, and please be ready if I want to carry out some extra practices but I’ll do that on several weeks only because I don’t want to burden every one of you here. And most probably that extra practice will only be on if we don’t have any practice that particular week or the week before.” Okay, I didn’t expect that to happen. But I’m feeling great cause everyone appreciated my idea. Now this is what I call GREAT!
