Dinner is ready!

I put the dishes on the dining table and sigh. “At last, I don’t have to eat any kind of sand or rocks.” We giggled and then start eating.“Lynda is coming. She is so worried about you. She’s having her birthday party in another 6 months but she had already distributed the invitation cards. You’re invited right?” “Yeah, I am. She invites me to her birthday party every year. The most annoying part is that nobody can say no if she invitesthem. You know what daddy’s girl is like.” After we finished our dinner, Tucker washed the dishes. Then he helped me walk to the living room. We talk about school and stuffs. “How about the dinner I’ve cooked just now? I’ve said that you’ll never forget it.” “I think that’s the best dinner I’ve ever had.”  The doorbellrings and I know its Lynda.

“I’m going to get the door. You just wait here.” “Ok” I hear Lynda’s voice and she sounds panicked. I slowly walk towards the front door to have a look. “Christina, I’ve told you to just stay at the living room.” “Christina, are you alright? I’m sorry I pressured you just now. I shouldn’t do that. Mrs. Farrow…” “Lynda, I’m fine. You’re so paranoid.” “I think both of you can have a long conversation at the living room. I’ll make a bed for you Christina.” “Ok. Christina, I have lots of things to tell you.” Lynda and I sit at the sofa and she’slooking so worried.

“Christina, Iwas so damn panicked when you fainted just now. I think you are the luckiest girl in the world to have Tucker as your boyfriend. He is so sweet.” “Wait. I’m not Tucker’s girlfriend. I’m just his neighbour. We’re not even best friend or whatsoever.” “Christina, you don’t have to be shy with me. The whole school has known the truth just now.” “What?! Who told them?” “Christina, chill. When you blacked out, Tucker carried you to the sick bay and he is the one who looked after you. He said you’ll be fine, don’t worry about you, he’s going to take care of you and some other romantic words. He is so sweet.” “Lynda, those are not romantic words. It’s just some convincing words for paranoids like you. Now I just want to hear about our dance practice. How was it?” “Owh, Mrs. Farrow cancelled the dance practice. She says that we’ll start practicing next week.” “I’m feeling so guilty right now.” “You can’t blame yourself for everything.”
