Chapter 23 I do adore

Everything you do it sends me higher than the moon with every twinkle in your eye.

There are two different kinds of people in the world
Blue and Red.
But sometimes... Every once in a blue moon a hybrid child appears, the children or hybrids are sent away to an island to starve or die. Yep it was a pretty harsh treatment.
Ah did you catch it? My past tense? Yep let's start this horrific story of love.
I was probably 17 when I first laid eyes on Preston, the most beautiful creature to ever walk the earth but as always the odds are against me and he is a Red..
We secretly met up and started going out
I pulled the small dark blue hoodie over my dark hair my grey eyes were apparently my most notable feature according to every other blue, Lachlan has quiffed back sandy blonde hair and ocean blue eyes.
I recognized presto so tallrr frame as he appeared near our normal spot.
I raced up to my Preston

You strike a match that lights my heart on fire.

He embraced me and I squeezed him
" I see you" he says looking down at me
"I see you" I say back to him
We both smile
Preston presses me further to the tree while kissing me
"Preston" I say mumbled through the kiss and smile he smiles back at me
" I love you" I say
" I love you so much more" he says

The sun started to rise and I pulled my shirt back on yawning and then turning to Preston suddenly urgency surges through me.
" Preston get up! You have to go! The Suns rising" he slowly rises and I cringe at the cracking of his bones
"Preston come on !" I say more urgently
We make it back to the border just on time I kiss him and push him over the border and rush back to my house.
I slowly close my eyes and am reawakened 2 hours later by my little sister
"Nate called a town meeting " Alexis said I slowly get up

When your near I hide my blushing face and trip on my shoelace grace isn't my forte but it brings me to my knees when you say 'hello how are you my darling today?'

Nate is my older brother and after our dad died two years ago he took our dads place.
But my brother has had a pretty cold heart since my dad died, before my dad passed away Nate was always a goody goody studious in every way, I was curious and was always led over the edge by things, so my parents always bragged about how Nate had such amazing grades, but I got along better with my siblings I could normally communicate with people while my brother was short tempered and could barely hold a debate.
(Intro of a character now let's skip forward)
~3 months later~
I had missed my period 3 times....
Come on Sex Ed teacher! This is why I took your class! I thought to myself angrily
I banged my head against the bathroom wall. And then threw up.
"Sarah? Sweetie? Are you okay?"
"Uhh... Yep doing fine mom"
"Okay honey I'm going to go to the Game Center or whatever it's called"
"Sure mom" I yelled back
I waited for the slam of a door before unlocking my bathroom door and peeking out. I don't know why I thought that was necessary . Before getting out of the bathroom.
~skipping drive to doctors office and filling papers out...( I think that's how it goes...) ~
"Sarah Pancakes" yes my last name is pancakes, it's literally the best and worst last name ever but... Yum pancakes sound-
"Sarah right this way" I walk away with the doctor
"So you just got out of school?"
"Yes" I say smiling we only have 10 years of school we don't really need to know that much just basic skills then your given a duty the next year and you move out of your parents house and find a partner and have children and that's the cycle.
"So it looks like your 3 months pregnant" he says

We're as different as can be Ive noticed your remarkably relaxed and I'm overly uptight.

"Might I ask who the father is? And isn't it a little early?"
"The father I would like to be kept anonymous. Not a little early considering next year I won't be with my parents and that house anymore " he gave me a pitied look. F off man.
"Okay well it's up to you whether you'd rather like to give her up or-"
"It's a girl?" I said he nods and I feel tears prick my eyes
"I'll keep her!" I say and he nods
"We'll keep in touch Sarah" he says nodding and opening the door
"If anything seems out of the ordinary get ahold of me or one of the care unit gals" he says I nod
"Thank you doctor" Nate is in the waiting room
"Nate? What are you-"
"Are you okay? Is anything damaged?" Nate really was a good guy but he can be overly protective
"I'm pregnant" he freezes
"Do mom and dad know? Who's the father? Does he know?"
"1) no 2) anonymous 3) he doesn't know"
He stops
"Nate don't give me that look I just got out of there how would I in the 3 seconds that you gave me to talk to mom and dad" I said he stops and thinks
"Yeah I guess why don't you call them"
"Okay"

1 more month until I can fully talk and see with my Preston.

3 months later.

A rebellion of hybrids rose up and for the past three me and my mom have been in hiding while the leader of red and Nate talk and negotiate with the hybrid.
The leader of the hybrid has Jet black hair and dark mocha skin. Under the table I can see his and a red teams hand intertwined. He's tired of hiding. He can't hide his love anymore so he rose a rebellion to get to his love.

We balance out each other nicely

Months later
I still haven't seen Preston I haven't been able to Nate is making this worse for blue. But red is making much better progress with the Hybrids.
The leader who I found out his name was vikk confessed his love for the red, and red team wasn't exactly thrilled but wasn't disappointed, and they agreed.
Nate is almost making us fall into war with the hybrids, mates thinking of stepping down and giving me the position.
"Thinking of that offer?" He asks me as I'm sitting at the table drinking orange juice and reading the news on my holographic news.
"Yes" I say and he nods solemnly
"I know that you think this will bring shame upon us Nate but it won't" I say shutting down the news and standing up and hugging Nate.
"No political debate until your child comes out" he says smiling and I nod.
"I should probably go to the hospital though" I say he nods and walks me to the car
"Bye" he says

Her name is Alice May...Arsement
She looks just like her father brown fluffy hair, brown eyes exact shade of chocolate and coconuts and she's a curious one... Just like me.

~4 and a half years later~
Today is Alice's 5th birthday.
I haven't been able to see or meet with Preston, but he did know that I had a child it was news spread throughout red ,Blue, and hybrid who's the mystery babies father stuff like that was all over the news and I never once told anyone not even my family. I did bond with the hybrid. Their literally the kindest people ever.
I invited, vikk and Lachlan, they were such a cute couple, in the back of it all I saw a red and blue kiss under a tree. We're breaking the wall. I set Alice down and she's running after My friend Mitch's son Kyle. When I heard a gasp and a few screams. I turn to see Alice her two knees and palms scraped and her blood wasn't red, wasn't blue, it was....purple....
"She's a hybrid" someone yelled.
Vikk scooped Alice up and took her to me as the group started chasing after us.
"Vikk take her to a man named Preston"
"But-"
"You can cross the border I can't" vikk and Lachlan cross the border with Alice
"MOM!" She wails
I make a distraction for the people when someone steps in front of the crowd
"This is not a way to treat a lady" Nate.
I breath a sigh of relief
"This is how you treat a real traitor" I am thrown in a boat and sent in the ocean towards the unforgiving island.
"Fire!" I hear and a bunch of arrows wish past and  hit the border of the boat and they set the boat on fire.
"Oh my gosh their sending me off to my death Royal style" I say dramatically.
I don't know if it's a piece of humor just to make me feel better but it's doing something, I pull the boards up and make a bed out of the boards.
A small water nymph passes my vision.
It drops next to me and I roll over and I realise the arrows have frozen and the waters are still not even the air is moving the fairy pulls on my hand, I sit up and she pulls my finger towards the water.
"Swim?" She shakes her head No
She walks gracefully across the water.
I swing a leg over the edge and push on the water and it's solid... I stand up and the faire circles me a few times, a few other fairies appear and also encircle me as a gentle music fills my ears and the fairies dance around I follow their motion and dance to the edge of a shore, I look around for the fairies and realise the water is actually water now, and my dress is a Snow White and in the water my reflection shows a bunch of white flowers in my brown curly hair. I walk across the grass as flowers start to grow, the grass turns greener and I keep walking.
"Moms nearby I can feel her-" Alice comes into the clearing and sees me she has blood still on her knees.
"Come here my darling"
"Mom did you die?" I smile at her and wipe a tear away and place my hand on her wounds as they heal
"No I was cured" I say smiling
"Alice!" A British voice shouts
"Mom"
"Alice don't go running off like that" vikk says and then Preston is behind him, I reach out to touch Preston's cheek and he leans on it.
"Dad can't you see her mom she's right there" Preston bolts up and turns around and gives his daughter a confused look.
I kneel beside my daughter.
"Remember, I was cured, I never said I died"
"You did die don't you!" She says bawling
"No-"
"What's wrong Alice?! No one died" vikk bites his lip
"They can't see you" she says and I sit beside her.
"Show them, give them a sign" she says turning to him.
I pick up Alice and kiss her forehead she leans her head on my neck.
"Tell dad that" I stop and bite my lip carrying Alice over to Preston kissing him on the lips, after I pull away he moves his hand to his lips.
"Tell daddy I love him... And I love you so much"
A bunch of fairies rush into the scene, they surround my arms, dress, head, chest, hair, and everything else.
"Sarah"

[chorus]
Finding words, I mutter
Tongue-tied, twisted
Foot in mouth, I start to stutter
Ha, ha, Heaven help me
