Ch. 26 part 2 /hide away\

looking high and low someone let me know where do the good boys go to hide away hide away?

"What the hell are you doing?!" Mitch whispered shouted
"You'll see, if Paige gets "paired" with Preston for Prom, she'll become the talk of the school and she'll get to the top of the group, second of all can you change a teenage boys mind Mitch?" He opens his mouth closes it and nods
"Yeah, I guess your right"
"See I am thinking ahead, but one thing that is more stubborn than a boy in love"
"A girl in love?" Mitch questions
I nod
"And you love me" he says cuddling me in his arms I feel a pair of eyes in the back of my head Preston has turned from Paige and is looking at me and Mitch he takes a deep breath and taps Paige on the shoulder and they start talking
"He won't thank me ever for this"
"I bet" Mitch responds
-after class-
"Will Sarah (L/N) please report to the office" a voice blared over the morning speaker and all the kids minus Preston and Mitch go 'ooooo'
Mitch squeezes my hand and I stand up and notice Paige cuddling into Preston I squeeze the handles of my backpack shutting the door after me and enter the principals office
"Miss Sarah" the principle says staring at me a bit gravely I hear sobbing in the staff bathroom
"Miss Sarah I don't mean to be the bummer on your day but..." She looks down
"One of the teachers saw you run off with a student from a different school and speed away" I open and then quickly close my mouth
"You will be serving detention for one day, since this is your first day and your ONLY warning" she hands me a detention sheet
"This next part your god mother will have to explain " the principle says blowing her nose in a tissue soon my god mother comes out of the bathroom she embraces me and she is bundled in like three coats.
"Honey" she starts
Now I'm worried
"Honey" she holds my head in her hands, cold hands, the clock seems to speed ahead of the actual time... Spinning.... Spinning... Never stopping and then it stops the bell rings signifying the end of class... My god mother sucks in a deep breath in and out again
"Pick your hair up darling" I do so and I feel the weight of something on my neck, I reach up and hold it... Moms cross
"Honey your brother and mother are dead"
No sound I can't comprehend the news
My blinks are in slow motion, and I spot Mitch & Preston at the door and finally my blinks go back to normal and suddenly I fall over, my head lands into Someone's hand and I look over slightly to see Mitch, he is talking but I can't hear anything, Preston has tears streaming down his face, Mitch is now yelling, I can tell by the tears on his face and the way his mouth moves
Suddenly I'm lifted up and suddenly I can hear a heartbeat... Dum... Dum... Dum... Rapid.... Scared heart beat.

Boys seem to like the girls who like to kiss and tell talking them up about the things they do so well

"Give her air! Give her air don't crowd!" Two voices blend together
"Sarah" suddenly I'm tackled by two kids
"Gah!" I gasp out
"Lachlan, rob" rob hugs me tight and Lachlan hugs me even tighter
"Mitch?" Lachlan's eyes widen
"You and Mitch? Really?" He thumps his chin
"We thought you had something for Preston?"
My heart twinges in pain
"I did, but he loves another much more" I barely whisper out before my god mother picks me up
"It's time to relax for a bit"
"You better be glad I decided to start looking at houses nearby so I can pick one out and can stay here with your friends"
Lachlan and rob start doing their silly dance and I laugh, Mitch kneels down beside me and hugs me really tight, I hug him back
"Stop making me worry so much"
"I'll work on it" I say jokingly and I hug him back again
Suddenly all the girls burst in
"Okay stop the phone!" Ashley yells
"What the hell just happened!?" Ashley, Natalie and Alanna yell at the same time, earning a glare from the teachers. Kara and Jess laugh and help Mitch off me and then pull me up
"We're still up for studying after school?" Rob says using the code word for staying out late and doing absolutely nothing.
"Of course, I've got a test tomorrow" I say using the code words for
"WE NEED TO TALK" Mitch shoots me a weird look. Oh. Right. New kid doesn't understand OUR code
"Would it be okay? To clear my head?"
My god mother took my head in her hands and pulled me close and hugged me
"Yes sweet heart, be home before 11" I smile
"Thanks" she nods I walk out the door and see Preston with Paige, he silences Paige and walks towards me
"Oh my gosh are you okay!?" He says hugging me and making my heart twinge in pain
"Yeah I'm fine, are you still up for after School?" Preston pulls away to open his mouth but Paige opens hers first
"Oh yeah sorry he didn't tell you, tonight me and P have a date" she says making a hand crawl up his chest
"Oh okay, well then we'll see you tomorrow maybe?" I turn and start to walk towards the group that was just watching Mitch pulls me into a hug
"Sarah!" Preston calls
I stop pull myself out of Mitch's grip and turn around
"Hmm Preston?" He motions for me to follow him and I push Mitch back towards our group
"Stay here I'll be right back" he nods
