Waking up to kiss you and nobody's there the smell of your perfume still stuck in the air, it's hard.
"I crown Mitch the son of Daniel the ruler of Leo" he was adorable I had to admit, but there was no chance for an us.... he was a Leo I was a Libra, my parents had already presented me with many Male and female, as to not offend anyone and keep the balance , suitors... and though they were nice they weren't compatible for me. I was snapped out of my thought by my mother
"You're up now" my mother said pushing me forward as I walked towards Olive, Libra's current leader.
I had been too busy in thought that I missed Virgo's coronation? Oh boy...
Olive took my hand and shook it, before opening the case next to her and taking out a crown.
"I crown, Victoria , the daughter of Tegan to lead Libra" Olive said proudly as she handed me a staff that looked like it was made of wood but felt like metal and at the top protected by thick branches the scales of balance were protected.
"This staff is made of some of the strongest materials known to The zodiacs and cannot be broken so fear not Malady" she said and steering me offstage. The rest of the zodiacs continued going up and down the stage, and when the 12th zodiac had been presented we were pushed into a line to shake everyone's hand. I stood under a tree as Virgo's new leader went off to mingle with others and I closed my eyes and tightly held onto the staff.Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow runnin round it's funny how things never change in this old town, so far from the stars
"Hey don't be so anxious, relax a bit" the Leo Boy said I jumped back startled before relaxing and leaning onto my staff.
"As you can tell this isn't quite my scene" the boy smiled and nodded at me
"It's just a must, I guess I didn't expect to be picked" I said shrugging my shoulders
"Oh I definitely get you there, I was 100% sure that this Boy who was pretty athletic and pretty smart and pretty much everything was going to get it, but I guess not, I'm Mitch from The Leo tribe" he said
"Omph well obviously you knew that I was a Leo, jeez" he said hitting himself in the forehead I giggled and smiled at him
"Don't sweat on it Mitch. I am Victoria, descendant of the Libra tribe " I said smiling and winking at him he giggled back at me.
"What's the staff for?" Mitch asked
"It's a little difficult to explain" I said shrugging and twirling it in my hands
"Here comes our fans, talk later?" He said and I nodded and giggled
"Definitely" I said as I switched my staff to my left hand since many of the zodiac were right handed and a few were left handed. Whereas the Libra's are ambidextrous, to keep peace even with menial things such as being left and right handed. And I wanna tell you everything the words I never got to say the first time around
We were congratulated as more and more people came through the line, When Olive came up to me she was gleaming with pride like I was one of her own children which unfortunately made me feel a little uneasy that she hadn't picked one of her own 6 children, 3 boys and 3 girls, so as not to offend the sexes.
By the end only a few zodiacs remained one of them my closest friend from Gemini
"kaitlyn" I said smiling as I set my staff aside which had shape shifted into a broom as we embraced i peeked over her shoulder to the boy behind her
"oooo who's that cute little boy toy behind you?" I said jokingly
Kaitlyn turned bright red from head to toe
"He's Aquarius' new leader, his name is Collin, very nice boy" she said looking over her shoulder as they made eye contact and smiled
"very nice...." she said drifting off a bit
"what about your hot steamy boy toy" she said and I blushed but giggled
"Haha, love the connection but unfortunately you know how that would end..." I said glancing over at Mitch dreamily before turning back to Kaitlyn
"And now you've got this awesome staff you smart-a-"
"Ladies" a regal voice interrupts kaitlyns fair language
"Your majesty's" kaitlyn and I said giving a low curtsy to Aquarius' late Queen and Olive
