Chapter 15 ~stone cold~

~Serena~
Stone cold stone cold you see me standing but I'm dying on the floor

"I just don't want to" I said moving my braid onto my shoulder
"Come on  Red why don't you wanna get out there you have serious talent" my best friend Mitch says
"Mitch" I say while shutting my locker
"No, I refuse to play in front of them, this school is filled with mother sheeping showganist assholes, just let her go instead"
"Serena" Mitch whined "by Mitch I will see you at lunch tomorrow right?"
Mitch rubbed his neck
"Serena I have a quick question" Mitch says
"Ask away Mitchell"
"Mitch" Mitch says pissed
"Whatever" Mitch glares at me
"So I really wanna ask this girl out-"
"Ooo who's the lucky lady" I say nudging him
He blushes "she doesn't go here. Anyways so I guess I wanna know what's a good way to ask her out?" He asks
"I don't know"

~the next day~
I swirl my coffee cup around its freezing cold outside, I am wearing my black and pink beanie, my black sweater and my uggs, I twirl my dog tags around my neck, one tag has my full name on it and the second one has Mitch's full name on. Do I love him do I hate him I think this over. After 5 minutes Mitch walks in. "Mitchell!" I say standing up and hugging him. Next to him is a female
"So your Serena" the female says with a weird tone, Mitch glares down at her.
After five minutes I was already tired of this bitch.
"I'm gonna go"
"Can you believe her she's leaving "
Okay that's it I take her coffee, open it, and dump it on her
"Oh what the fuck bitch"
"Watch your language miss there are kids in this cafe!" An older lady says to Mitch's girlfriend who's name is Mckenzie (sorry any girls called mckenzi out there)
Those two begin to fight before I leave dragging my backpack I open my book.
"Bucket list for school year
1. Learn Greek-...what the I'm not even going to question it
2. Ask mit-" I stop and scribble it out
"Serena! Serena wait!" I don't wait

I obviously do what I want so listening to Mitch was not happening.
"Serena Lynn stop running!" He yells

"I'm pretty sure I know when your lying so tell me what's bothering you"

"Mitch I just-I don't want to leave you but I am"
"W-what?!" Mitch said his hands on my shoulders
"I am leaving in two months to live with my close friends"
He is speechless
"B-but you can't leave" now It's my turn to be speechless
"You've got everything you need right here" I say

I embrace Mitch into a hug
"M-Mitch" I say holding back tears and chokes
"What's wrong?!" He says urgently
"I love you" I say he looks shocked before kissing my forehead

He plants a kiss on my lips

I'm happy for you know that I am, even if I can't understand, if happy is her than I'm happy for you.
