A/n leading up to Christmas I will have 3 chapters up well today-Tuesday, Thursdayand Saturday. On with the story.
(Ps there is a lot of time jumping)
----
Trying hard not to fall on the way home, you were trying to wear me down, down kissing up on fences and up on walls on the way home, I guess it's all working out, now.

"Hey hope!" The cheerful voice from next door yelled I looked out my open window
"Hi Preston" I said barely audible
"How're you doing this morning?" He asked
"I'm-im doing alright" I said looking to the machines near my bed my heart rate being monitored if my breathing was off, if I was too tired, anything...
And Preston... "the typical next door" as my older sister always called him, I never understood that until I was older
"Preston!" His fathers voice roared and Preston turned with fear in his eyes
"I'll talk to you later" Preston said quickly closing his window and drawing the blinds
This always happened, Preston explained he didn't want to upset his father ever so he had to leave whenever his dad called, as a child I found it unfair that he always had to leave on such short notice, I didn't understand then.... I wish I hadn't of been so....oblivious to what was happening to Preston....

Cause there's still too long to the weekend, too long till I drown in your hands, too long since I've been a fool

"Lets go on an adventure" Preston said to me as we were drawing with chalk on my driveway
"Preston-" we had already talked about this bunches of times
"No-not now" he paused
"Later in life, it'll be you and me on and adventure" he said smiling and suddenly moving to a fresh clean patch to draw on.
"What are you drawing Preston?" I said standing up
"The entire world" he said stretching his arms out wide
"And than you can put dots down where you want to go" Preston said smiling happily.
I pulled the heart rate machine behind me and walked to Preston and plopped down beside him. He was always an excellent drawer. I smiled as preston began to draw the United states than Europe, even including little U.K and New Zealand. Preston was always a sucker for traveling.

Leave this blue neighbourhood Never knew loving could hurt this good, oh And it drives me wild

"Come on Preston said holding a hand out for me" I motioned to the heart rate machine and he gently picked it up carrying it over the grass I walked forward and so did Preston
"where are we going Preston?" I said as we continued to walk through our beautiful forest backyard
" to my hide out" he said, and even though I didn't turn around I could hear the smile when he said that... and I smiled too. after a bit we came across a giant moss hill with a few wild flowers scattered along the top and sides.
"whoah" I said stopping and staring, Preston turned to a giant tree and pulled a giant piece of bark off of it which now provided a staircase
"Preston you built this?!" I said he blushed and shrugged his shoulders
"I thought you'd like it, my aunt helped me build it she said it resembled a fairy house in one of the books she read" Preston said and Iwalked over to preston, he set my machine down on the top stair and motioned for me to go in
"i need to close this off when we go in so no one will find this" he said, I nodded and barely picked up my machine and moved it down a few steps so preston could close off the entryway, he turned to me picked up the machine, and we started walking down the stairs.
"Preston, this is so beautiful " I said mesmorized by everything
"my uncle is a woodworker, and my older cousin is a aspiring artist, and my aunt is an architect" he said
" so they just made this all so much easier" he said and set my machine down

'Cause when you look like that I've never ever wanted to be so bad, oh it drives me wild

"Well you can thank them when you see them again" I said walking over to the bookshelf and seeing so many books
"Where did you get all these books?" I asked amazed
"There are a few of my dads a few of mine and some of my moms" he said and I plucked a book of the shelf and pulled one of the chairs over and sat down flipping through the pages. Preston sat down beside me
"I'm so glad you like it and I'm glad I got to bring you here, and I'm glad you said yes, cause I know it's a stretch with your parents-"
"My parents!" I said suddenly
"We have to get back home" Preston looked down at his watch
"Yeah we've been gone for about 7 minutes your parents will check on you in about 7 minutes" he said taking my heart machine in hand and pulling me up the stairs.
"Preston I know you're worried but slow down" Preston slowed down a bit, we exited, and he covered the fairytale home back up.
