You were walking down the lively streets of new Orleans, you were out enjoying the summer air trying to clear your head but sadly you couldn't get the piece and quite you desired as you were in the middle of the ferert street festival one of the most biggest gatherings in New Orlean. you didn't really mind it as much, you enjoyed the celebration how stranger come together and enjoy each others company.

You were slowly making your way there the crowd, bumping into people and apologising, its funny there was a time you would have bit off someone's head if they did that, you didn't always enjoy humans presents but you've changed since then, you turn over a new leaf as people may say you learned not to judge people so quickly and not to jump to the conclusion that all humans are hateful people.

You look around the street trying to see if you could see sign with the name of the street but you couldn't see anything, but your eyes then shuffled to the people, your eye scanned thought the people. you were just looking when your eyes ran past a face, you jumped and quickly looked back but it was gone, you could have swore that it was him.

You shook your head in indenile and continued walking thought the crowd, you started to  use your cat eyes to see further down the street till a bar a bit further down from you on the right caught your eye, it had big bright lights bulbs all around the entrance and right above it was a circus themed sign that said 'THE CAROSEL BAR', you smirk as it wasn't the first time you have been there and you knew a guy in there, well if he still worked there of course but that's not why you remembered it so well.

You started to make you way to the bar but you did have to stop as people kept giving you beaded necklaces and you being nice and all accepted them, by the time you actually got to the entrance of the bar you had 20 or more on and you just had to take so off, so you took off 17 of them off and then you looked up to see a young couple coming out, you held out the necklaces offing them to take them all, they gladly took them and walked off, you watched as they walked off together laughing whilst they held each other, you couldn't help but remember how he made you smile like that, you turned and went into the bar.

When you entered the bar the first thing that caught your eye was the carousel in the middle of the room and the bar chair that went all around I, you still loved the bright lights scatted around the top, you looked  around to see couples sitting in booths holding hands and laughing, you look away and headed towards the bar.

You made your way to the bar tender who recognized you "hey (y/n) where you been hiding gurl" you sat on one of the bar stools smirking at the guy "oh I've been around Owen, now tell me can a girl get her favourite drink" you said in a flirty tone also adding a little wink, the guy leaned down to your eye level and crossed his arms laying the on the bar "now gurl, you know I don't swing that way and plus ain't you got somebody, where is you dark prince at" your smirk was wiped of your face and you broke eye contact with the guy, Owen stood up and cleared his throat "um so a black Russian still your drink" you looked back giving a slight nod and with that Owen left you to go make up your drink. You stared your hands but then something caught your eye, it was a heart engraved into the wood, you then turned to look at the booth at the end of the line and this trigger a flash back.

*flash back* 3 years ago

You were dancing in the streets in a crowd, having a great time, you have been staying here for and so for you loved it, it was better that your home before well it not hard to be better than that place. Your parents were totally anti-mutant people I mean they were both scientist at the place where they made the "cure", so when you found out you were a mutant at the age of 16 you decided to keep it to yourself, until you wanted to leave home at 19,it all happened so fast, they were shouting at you for something stupid and you said "can you guys just shut up" and they did, they actually couldn't say anything and when you stopped what you had done and in no time wasted they had you in their arms trying to strap you to a table, your parent actually wanted you as a gianne pig their own daughter but that didn't matter to them, they couldn't see past their own hatred, you were in there for a month and within that time, they had add more mutation to you, they weren't able to take my general power but you did get the fetches of a cat, its jumping and running speed but also you could hind my looks for when you needed to hide and your genes seem to reject the cure.

 You didn't think you were going to get out till one of the guards messed up and let a mutant out and the he took out the power which opened all the cells and from then on you were on my own, for a year now you've travelled to parts of world and having the power to put ideas into peoples head you never had to pay or get ID for anything.

 You have been dancing most of the night and you came to a point were you no longer had the energy to do it, you looked around the street to see if you could find a bar for a drink, you happen to see one that stood out from the rest, it was just on your right hand side and It had a big sign that said 'the carousel bar', you started to make your way to the bar, when you got to the front you then realized it was a circus sign and the entrance way outlying with bright light, you kind of felt like a star going to the Oscars, you walked to the door and entered the bar.
