Chapter 17

you only got 3 hours sleep but even that, you temperature keep going up and down during the night so you didn't get a good sleep at all, your alarm went off and just from frustration you took it and threw it at the wall which it then smashed to pieces. You rolled over to go back to sleep but your eyes shot open when you head people talking outside your door and because of you were half cat, it was hard to ignore. Advenchly you just gave up and got out of bed, you walked over to the dresser and grabbed a pair of black jeans the had rips in them and black and red baseball t-shirt, you were about to put on slip on shoes but you then got a wave of sickness, you ran to the bathroom quickly 'great, morning sickness'.

After 10 minutes of sitting in the bathroom trying to catch you breath, you finally got your shoes on and left your room.

You walked down towards the kitchen but the closer you got the more you could smell breakfast being made, it gave you a slight sick feeling but you could handle it, you were outside the kitchen when you heard someone shout your name, you turned to see the professor "(y/n), after you have had something to eat, I would like you and the team to stay in the kitchen, so I can talk to everyone" you gave a nod and headed inside, also holding the door open for the professor.

Everyone was laughing and talking but you just sat at the window with a tea, you looked at the team, your eyes drifted to outside where you saw the garden, you looked at the kids playing and using their powers, it made you happy. You werent sure how long you stood there but you were snapped out of your daydream when orora tapped your shoulder, you turned and smiled "storm" you hugged her "hi (y/n), sorry I wasn't here yesterday, I had to check up on something" you nodded "its fine, I love what you did with your hair" she laughted and thanked you, storm was a great person she was always able to get along with anyone, hell she was best friends with logan, after having a small chat, you suddenly started getting a sore feeling in your stomach 'oh god why' you stay down and held your stomach "(y/n) whats up?" you looked up and smiled "ive not eaten in ages, I guess ive just forgot" storm then stood up "i swear, you need to take better care of yourself" you laughted as she walked away.

Some people started but the full x men team stayed behind, after everyone finnished eating the professor then spoke in a serious tone "now everyone, I would like to know exactly what happened last night" everyone was silent till scott spoke up "well we got to the labs and (y/n) was able to use her powers to open the door. when we got inside, there was no security" scott then paused to see if the professor wanted to comment "hmm strange... do go on" Scott then leaned forward trying to remember every detail "we ended up running into some soldiers when we enter ferther into the labs but we werent seen" scott then looked over to you "(y/n) had a vistion for gambit in room 45 before the soilders came" all eyes where on you "is this true?" storm asked, you nodded but your face showed that you weren't sure how you did it, scott then continuted "we trusted her vistion and headed up to floor four, where we came in contact with soldiers." scott then remembered seeing you running off but couldnt go after you "i... I um" the professor moved forword to scott "what is it scott?" he said in a soft tone, you knew he wasnt sure what to say for your action, hell he doesnt even know what happened.

 you cleared your throut bring everyones attention to you "after a the fight broke out, I stay near logan but I then saw a signs that lead to room 45... and I engaged alone" the professor turned to face you "i followed the signs till I came to a hallway with four soldiers guarding that hall. I took care of the guys-" you were stopped by storm "what do you mean 'took care' (y/n)" you looked to her and smirked "i mean I knocked them down but they were tough, they got back up" you looked back to see kurt with a worried look, he knew what was coming next "i then looked for room 45 and when I did..." you stopped and then scene flashed past your eyes, you started to tear up remembering how at that moment you thought you lost you child.

You heard a BAMF next to you, you then felt kurt holding you and you just layied your head on his chest "its okay (y/n)" you nodded and pulled way, everyone was confused but they had worried fill theyre eyes "when I tried to enter the room, a man or something came out and... hut me in the stomach" you heard shifting, you looked to see hank standing up with shock "what.. can that be?" everyone was so confused, well exept logan, kurt and hank. Jean then spoke up "is there something we've missed?" you took a breath "yes, i'm..." you found yourself no longer having a voice "its okay (y/n),we are your family" the professor said whilst looking you in the eye, you closed your eyes "i'm... pregnant".

No one said anything, you were so sure that you were in trouble for one, for going off alone and two, for not saying I was with child. Finally someone spoke up, it was storm "thats fantastic" she said as she gave me a hug, followed but jean, kitty, rogan and the men just saying "congragelations" the professor put his hands together and smile "im happy to hear this but you should of told us sooner" he sounded more serious at the last part, you were about to answer but then scott butted in "wait you said you where hit in the stomach- Is the baby okay?" hank then stood up again "i check her and the baby last night, theyer both alright" everyone relaxed down. You explained the rest of the mission and how you had a zombie for a while but then logan took over when you left the labs with gambit and kurt.

Logan spoke "when Cheshire left, we continuted fighting but then a whisle went off but only me, elf and the big guys could hear it because we have animal treats. We then found out the one who kidnapped the cajun was (y/n)'s parents" as soon as he said that, you tensted up with anger but contained it, the professor nodded "very strange, we can find out more about this when mr lebeau has woken up but for now, I dont anyone going anywhere alone and (y/n) I dont want you to go out to much and if you must, please take someone with you." you nodded and with that the professor left and all the girls came over to talk about the baby. Jean asked if she could feel it, you nodded yes, it felt weird but then you got use to it after the third person, everyone finally started leaving you alone but you then saw jean smiling to scott, you used your cat hearing to see what they were laughing about "so what do you say, wanna have one of our own" you could see scott blush and you started to laught but then turned and most talked to kurt and kitty.
