chapter 25

(sorry I haven't updated a lot but I'm going on holiday once again, I just wanted to post this because I will not be writing whilst I'm there. sorry its just one of those things I have to do but please enjoy)

You made your way up the stairs to the kitchen, on the way a few students stared at you and your new look, you stared to feel ill and before you knew it you needed to be sick. you quickly stepped into someone's room and headed to the bathroom.

After a minute or two of being sick, you finally stepped out to see Logan with just jeans on "hey, glad you're up" logan said as he grabbed his shirt "hehe, yeah umm... sorry by the way, I just got a sick feeling and i-" he slipped on his shirt and spoke "hey it okay , if you needed it then... so did the Cajun speak to you?" your eyes drifted to the floor "yes" you were uncomfortable with the thought of what you did. Logan sensed this and came over "hey (y/n)" he wrapped his arm around you "you okay, did he do something-" you burst out in tears "NO, he didn't do anything, in fact he was nice to me and-and I was a total bitch to him, I pushed him away and now I have no chance" you said as you walked around his room "i'm sure it wasn't that bad, look did he seem pissed?" you turned to him "i don't know, I was behind a fucking curtain basically telling his to get out" Logan sighed as he looked down.

That's when you noticed the smell of cologne and the way logan was dressed, he was wearing hes good jeans with a black shirt whivh the two top buttons were undone and his hair was all done up "you going out?" you asked making logan's head face you "well... huh storm asked me if I wanted to go have drinks with her tonight" you smiled, you knew Orora liked Logan but you were so happy that she finally did it "that's... that's fantastic" you said as you hugged him "its only a drink" he said as he pulled away "mmhmm sure" you then walked to the door "hey, you deserve someone who will love you forever" you said to him, he looked up to shoot that smile that only came every now and then "hey, dont give up. I know he'll get those memories back, you pretty hard to forget ya know" you nodded you head as you walked out.

ROGUES POV

I wasn't really sure if me and (y/n) were good, I mean she looked okay in the danger room but then again she didn't really seem like herself "what are you thinking about cher?" gambit asked "nothing really" I didn't convince him "you're thinking about that friend, (y/n)" he asked a lot about her ever since he first saw her in the med bay but when the danger room thing happened he started asking more.

I was glad but if I kept telling him then he would never go talk to her "yeah I am, I want to help her but i'm not sure if she wants it" gambit placed his hand on my shoulder "that girl seems like she's in a bad place, who ever left her with that baby, he took her heart with him" I wanted to tell him that the guy was him, but the professor told all the students not the say a word "yeah, he was a real nice guy. He loved her with all his heart, he helped her ya know, he showed her a new way to see the world" gambit looked away "what happened to him?" I wasn't sure how to answer the question but I just went with the truth "he gave himself up to save her" I then walked away from him and headed towards the window.

I could see it was sunny and most of the students were having lessons outside "you know, I think she needs a new face to talk to" I said as I turned to gambit, he began eating an apple "what do ya mean?" I smirked, I got an idea "see we all know (y/n), so she might have a harder time to speak to us cuz she might think we'll jugde. But you, you dont know her, so she might be able to vent to you. Plus you keep asking questions about her, so you can ask her yourself" gambit looked at me whilst raising one eye brow "umm... I'm not too sure on that one rogue" I was about to say something but she some came in the kitchen.

I looked past gambit to see (y/n) standing there "oh hey (y/n), you feeling any better?" she nodded "yeah, and the baby is okay aswell" she said placing a hand on her stomach. She looked at gambit but then moved to the fridge to get some thing to eat, I then sighed "well I should go see if bobby is doing okay with his first class, ill see you around (y/n)" she smiled before turning back to the fridge, i looked at gambit an mouthed 'talk to her' he sighted and I left.
