Chapter 27

(Hello my mutants, so even though I'm the one writing this I'm still getting excited about typing the next one up.... I'm weird okay. hope you like this because I seem to be getting people on my books who don't like my cliff hangers... even though that's how you make a good book. I'm not sure but here ya go ENJOY)

(Y/N) POV

you ran down the hall towards the front door 'I need to get out, I can't breath' you got to the door but before you could open it you felt a gust of wind coming to your right. Now you were outside "what the hell?" you looked around but couldn't see anyone, you were in the garden which is at the back of the school, the opposite way you were going. You looked down to your hands and then back around you "Kurt?" you called out but he didn't show up, then you felt the wind again but this time it was in front of you "hey there" a voice said, you turned to see a face you hadn't seen in ages.

REMY POV

I was on my way to the professors office, I think he can help with this vision I had or memory, what ever it was. I was walking down the hall when I saw Jean and Scott coming out "hey gambit" I nodded my head to them before passing them "hey what's the rush?" I stopped before turning around to them "I... saw something, a memory perhaps" I saw the exasperations change "oh" was all Scott said but I had no time to chat. I turned and continued down the hall, I could here them start to talk but the further I got the less I could hear, but I was able to pick up "do you think he's remembering" I shook my head 'what the hell happened to me'. I turned a few more corners before coming to the doors to the professors office, I knocked on it and I heard a voice inside "come in Mr Lebeau" I took a breath and went in.

I came face to face with the professor, but also storm and Logan. They were standing together and all dressed up "is everything alright gambit?" storm asked, I shook my head "no, I was just with that girl and she had this" I placed down the ring, I could feel the air becoming thin.

Logan grunted but storm place her hand on his shoulder, I turned my attention back to the professor "i see and why have you come to me about this?" he asked as he leaned forward. I straighten up "because, I saw something... when I touched the ring" I pointed at it as I spoke, the professor leaned back "what did you see?" he asked. I looked at his whilst raising an eyebrow, but I then sighed and took a seat "um... not much, I was back home... at a spot I like but someone else was there... a woman, I was talking about how I would protect her and... I think I was proposing... but I cant even remember being with someone" I shut my eyes as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

I heard someone moving and when I opened my eyes I saw Logan and storm had left "Mr Lebeau, I'm sure you're feeling very confused but I'm here to help" I sat up ruffled my hair "I.. I just want the truth" the professor nodded and went around his desk towards me "I cant just fix this, the mind in an amazing thing... but it has its limits" I looked to the ring on his desk and then back to him "I just want to know what happened to me... that's it" the professor nodded before placing his hands on the sides of my head.

I felt a sharp pain in my head before suddenly I was in a white room with the professor, he stood up from his chair, I was in shock but the professor just laughed "everyone has the same reaction when I do that" h e stood there and looked at me "well show me" he said, I was slightly confused "its your mind, you need to guide me to the image you saw" he said as he guested to the rest of the room "well... here goes nothing" I thought of when I touched the ring and what I saw.

I opened my eyes to then we were at the place, I could see myself holding the ring but the girl blurry and had something over her face "why cant I see her face?" I questioned, the professor sighed "because your memories were wiped....oh her" I turned to him, I could feel anger "wait... you know who that is" I said as I pointed to the girl, the professor just look away "yes.. I do" then he room began to fade away.

(DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNN, what will happen... who was she talking too. will the professor tell gambit the truth. no one will know until next time.
